Money From IBill

I just a message from the Mr. Skin affiliate program, and apparently they have received some money from iBill. Per the email message that I got:

"We got some money from Ibill.

Ibill has actually paid us a good portion of what they owe us and in doing so has made it possible for us to pay the affiliates the money that was held back from them. We are excited to say that in this upcoming pay period most of the money that is owed to you via members you had signed up years ago at Ibill and that are still recurring, will be paid out".

Although I do not have any recurring iBill members through Mr. Skin, hopefully other sponsors will get their money as well. If this is accurate, I guess we will just have to stop making fun of the guys over at iBill.

Ibill also paid us and we started to use it in our cascading system once again but we already paid to all affiliates the commissions on time.

Ibill - hehehehe
Its the most fun billing i have ever seen.
From the last:
We used ibill as a secondary billing system, from time to time some of our clients used it to transfer money(very rarely).

Except our previous "lifetime deposit" :) we collected new minimum payment sum at our account. Three months passed... We asked ibill about our money(softly-softly). We have heared a lot of fun things from ibill but this one is the best.
They answered that sum at our account is less then minimum payment amount and its half of the sum we see in our account.
So we see in our stats one ammount, but ibill tries to persuade us that we have another :)
So we throwed out it from our site.

am I hearing this right...that ibill is not paying affiliates and leaving it up to the site owners to do that?

YES. So we as affiliates will get it up the ass. Some programs just aren't honest enough to pay us.

If you ask me this is a total ripoff. IBill is suppose to pay us direct. Why can't they? Why send my money to a program owner?

The reality is this: Most companies are going to "settle" for an amount, not realizing that they are on the hook to pay affiliates. If they settle for 50%, guess what - there is not a single penny to pay the affiliates.

Basically, if you are owed Ibill money as an affiliate, you are as screwed as the one girl at the frat party.

And, of course, one of the proggies that owes me coin has gone tits up (over this fiasco I might add) so that'll be going to a blackhole I suspect...

All sponsors I had worked with paid ibill debts from their own pockets.
Seems that i am a lucky guy!

Glad I am only missing a few hundred bucks from them if I remember correct, but I dont believe I will ever get them...

selena 2005-09-12 09:22 AM

I only had one little-promoted sponsor with them, and the amount I lost was only slightly over $50.

But it still pisses me off.

They say ibill has bad prospects:

Man oh man....I am so glad I dumped those losers years ago....a company with concept but no clue how to run a business. Good luck to all who is owed money.

I wonder if ferrocash and serious-coin will payout. I had some nice spare change through them.

I just contacted all my former IBill sponsors and all of them saidd they did not receive a dime from IBill - and most of them have given up hope anyhow.

Xeno 2005-09-21 03:11 AM

so basically as affiliate webmasters for the ones we've done the promoting of work, the site owners get whatever money they get and affiliates get nothing. Who exactly made that decision to put that responsibility on to the site owners???? And who expects site owners to be honest with money they get....kiss the money good-bye now for 100% sure.

I wonder why the Mr. Skin affiliate program would have received money from iBill, and no one else. Unfortunately (or perhaps not), I did not use the Mr Skin iBill program at the time, so I do not know what happened. Anyway, I am really wondering what iBill is doing with all the money from the recurring members. Smoking it?
