Wolf Blizter Fuck Up On CNN
I think this will get me a mention on Opie & Anthony tomorrow :D
When I heard it, my jaw dropped. I then paused the TV, hit rewind, turned on the recorder & well.....it's about a minute long - listen near the end. Very inappropriate. http://www.greenguysboard.com/blitzer.mp3 |
Oh - I am kicking myself for not recording the Fox reporter that said the boat was too small to pick up Fats Domino & they'd need a much bigger boat :D
|
To sum it up, they're so poor, they're so black, and they're so fat. Very nice journalism indeed.
I'll be right back. I have to go turn my flag upside down. |
ouch!
|
Almost as good as watching and hearing George chuckling when he was talking how bad it is.
|
My husband and I were watching it. After he said "so black" we just looked at each other. What the fuck is so black??? I bet Wolf is not looking foward to tomorrow's headlines... :D
|
1st Howard Cosell
Then Jimmy The Greek Now Wolf |
Let me see there are not so black people, black people, so black people...NOT!!! There are only people. Say goodnight Wolf |waves|
|
I guess he may be, so out of a job.
|
Whoops!
Bet he didn't mean for THAT to slip out |shocking| Now, where is that foot in mouth smilie??? |
it'll get brushed off... watch
|
maybe he was refering to there skin color, seems nothern color people are not as dark as southern color people, I agree he shouldnt have said there so black...

It was a flub & we all know he didn't mean it. The guy that was on before he said that was talking about how there's the big elephant in the middle of the living room but no one wants to mention it, how everyone that you see on TV is poor and/or black (there's not a lot of white people on my screen these days)
They were also bashing Bush for not coming back form his vacation earlier (like he & congress did for Terry Shivao - ONE FUCKING PERSON) and how the lack of response is just fucking horrible. I heard one guy comment that Bush only came back from vacation early because of all the people seeking refuge in Texas :D |
It seems all we see in the pictures are black and old people. That was a bad fuck up but...I guess if you are not Bushes Base of voters, you are on your own.
|
Greenie, you need this cool little box I have that I think cost about $20 to record right from the tv, DVR or Tivo. I think the raw video and sound I get is about 2 megs/min so you need a little room to record anything worthwhile.
|
Ok, so you proved it for me GG :)

When the Tsunami hit, the next day we were there dropping food and water from helicopters while getting shot at..why isn't this happening in NO? I also just heard on MSNBC that 20 countries have offered help and Bush turned them down. |
I don't understand why they aren't dropping tents and supplies on the freeway where all these people are held up.
|
Ok, at about 4am on CNN the mayor of NO was on, via a feed from a local radio station. He told it like it is!! I can't find it online yet, but watch CNN and you'll hear it.
|
they have no idea how to handle the situation... think about it.. when has this ever happened in america? NEVER. they are not prepared... none of us were. it's sad.

I found this interesting... MichaelMoore.com Mike's Letter http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/me...ate=2005-09-02 Friday, September 2nd, 2005 Vacation is Over... an open letter from Michael Moore to George W. Bush Friday, September 2nd, 2005 Dear Mr. Bush: Any idea where all our helicopters are? It's Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina and thousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted. Where on earth could you have misplaced all our military choppers? Do you need help finding them? I once lost my car in a Sears parking lot. Man, was that a drag. Also, any idea where all our national guard soldiers are? We could really use them right now for the type of thing they signed up to do like helping with national disasters. How come they weren't there to begin with? Last Thursday I was in south Florida and sat outside while the eye of Hurricane Katrina passed over my head. It was only a Category 1 then but it was pretty nasty. Eleven people died and, as of today, there were still homes without power. That night the weatherman said this storm was on its way to New Orleans. That was Thursday! Did anybody tell you? I know you didn't want to interrupt your vacation and I know how you don't like to get bad news. Plus, you had fundraisers to go to and mothers of dead soldiers to ignore and smear. You sure showed her! I especially like how, the day after the hurricane, instead of flying to Louisiana, you flew to San Diego to party with your business peeps. Don't let people criticize you for this -- after all, the hurricane was over and what the heck could you do, put your finger in the dike? And don't listen to those who, in the coming days, will reveal how you specifically reduced the Army Corps of Engineers' budget for New Orleans this summer for the third year in a row. You just tell them that even if you hadn't cut the money to fix those levees, there weren't going to be any Army engineers to fix them anyway because you had a much more important construction job for them -- BUILDING DEMOCRACY IN IRAQ! On Day 3, when you finally left your vacation home, I have to say I was moved by how you had your Air Force One pilot descend from the clouds as you flew over New Orleans so you could catch a quick look of the disaster. Hey, I know you couldn't stop and grab a bullhorn and stand on some rubble and act like a commander in chief. Been there done that. There will be those who will try to politicize this tragedy and try to use it against you. Just have your people keep pointing that out. Respond to nothing. Even those pesky scientists who predicted this would happen because the water in the Gulf of Mexico is getting hotter and hotter making a storm like this inevitable. Ignore them and all their global warming Chicken Littles. There is nothing unusual about a hurricane that was so wide it would be like having one F-4 tornado that stretched from New York to Cleveland. No, Mr. Bush, you just stay the course. It's not your fault that 30 percent of New Orleans lives in poverty or that tens of thousands had no transportation to get out of town. C'mon, they're black! I mean, it's not like this happened to Kennebunkport. Can you imagine leaving white people on their roofs for five days? Don't make me laugh! Race has nothing -- NOTHING -- to do with this! You hang in there, Mr. Bush. Just try to find a few of our Army helicopters and send them there. Pretend the people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast are near Tikrit. Yours, Michael Moore MMFlint@aol.com www.MichaelMoore.com |
Ok I'm sorry I have to laugh because people are just so stupid. I mean that comment did not even fit in anyplace in his comment. You know he was telling himself "Did I just say that out loud and on tv? Oh Shit!" What I have been wondering about this, is has anyone heard of any other countries sending help for this? I would think with so many floods in other parts of the world, some countries just might have better experts then us. Like say Amsterdam? I think they know a little something about holding back water.

Considering that stations like CNN and FOX are turning this stuff out live nearly 24 hours per day, I am shocked that more hasn't been said out of place.
I find it more funny watching an NBC special last night. Their anchor is in Biloxi, at night, and they have artfull lit up the ddebris behind him with colored spotlights and whatnot. I could only think if they had spent that much time to help the people. Those reporters look awfully well fed and clean, considering the crap going on around them. Alex |
