CuddleBunny

Hey Verbal, Any idea when you will be up and running again?

pornrex 2005-09-06 06:43 AM

I finished submitting a short time ago and wondered the exact same thing.

2msacras 2005-09-06 11:51 AM

I third that only because we have a similar avatar and location

Verbal 2005-09-06 01:11 PM

Hey guys,

The plan is to re-launch CuddleBunny within 2 weeks. I've had everything redone and it's looking great, but there have been a few hang-ups getting our new script working properly with the new website design. I also just moved this weekend so that has been taking up a lot of my time.

I do have a big list of submitters that I'll be contacting a few days before re-launch, so if you'd like to get in early you can PM me or email: wm "at" cuddlebunny.com. Submissions will remain free, but will require you to login first to cut down on drive-by cheaters.

Thanks for your patience everyone and sorry this has been taking so long! :)

Nice, I just moved across town to Ukrainian Village. There's actually a lot of webmasters around Chicago, it's too bad the annual Midwest Webmaster Gathering isn't going on anymore.

2msacras 2005-09-06 06:26 PM

Ronnie...that's right around my neighborhood, I've only lived here for a five or so years but it's changed so much just in that short period.

I've ran across a few webmasters from chicago but not too many...most I seem to meet are from my old hometown NY

msanchez 2005-09-07 10:03 AM

ah i miss chicago some. Lived there most of my life until this year.

2msacras 2005-09-07 10:50 AM

I didnt like Chicago at first but I'm liking it more and more everyday...except for the traffic which seems to get worse everyday

2msacras 2005-09-07 11:22 AM

lol...but half of the time even at ten or two in the morning I still get stuck in traffic...even on a weekday night

2msacras 2005-09-07 11:25 AM

I have'nt been up there in probably 10 years, sure it's change tremenduously. Last time I went through fox valley, it was like crap! And get me out of here..:)

I agree chicago is a great city. We went to the taste a few years back, great time, great food. Been trying to get back again, hopefully soon.

Fox valley I'm sure hasn't changed...it was stuck in another decade....it's dead now, since the opened up the outlet mall that's where everyone goes shopping now

I actually got rid of my car..... no point having one in the city really if you can take public transportation. Traffic is terrible and I seem to have a knack for getting parking tickets. :)

I couldn't agree with you more. Living in Toronto with all the cars, traffic and the streets unfortunately designed for 70's traffic makes owing a vehicle a complete waste of time. Thankfully, I don't have to travel too to far to go to work. ;) And if ever there is a need to go anywhere, public transportation, walking or riding my bike are sufficient enough, especially with the skyrocketing price of gas, insurance, maintenance, parking, tickets, etc. I'm of the opinion that if you need something, have it to use it. Since I don't need a car right now - forget it.

Surfn 2005-09-07 06:07 PM

I lived in Manhattan for several years and kept my car in Conn. I never drove in the city...too damn much grid lock!! |angry|

Simon 2005-09-07 06:52 PM

I lived in Manhattan in the 80s and only kept a car to drive to Conn., LI or Upstate NY (does anywhere else have an 'upstate'?). Co-op had a basement garage with two spots I should have rented out if I'd been smarter.

I think it's the only upstate....but I could be wrong in Illinois we have a downstate so I guess that makes Chicago upstate...however, everyone I know just calls the whole area chicago.

It's funny, I grew up in Upstate NY....what was interesting is everyones defintion of upstate was different depending on what part of the state you were from. If you were from Manhattan upstate was mt vernon. If you were from mt vernon upstate was Poughkeepsie...etc

Well... if you kept banging on the wall and I kept saying "...go around, there's no door on this side..." then yes, that was me. :)
