Two questions for LL owners

Hi all!

1. If you were starting new link list, what script would you recommend/use?

2. How many free sites per category is enough for a start?

Thx in advance. :)

XPorn got it. hehe

Scripts? Do a search, it's been asked. Seems WSN Links and Link Admin are 2 good ones. I use Link Admin.

I'd say 20+ per category or whatever is enough to impress a surfer enough to bookmark.

all I got to say is a LL is a very very long road, at the very very min. 2 years for it to become anything and a lot of time.. dont make a mistake of putting all your time into it, let it grow on its own..

I would say about 5 or 10 pay links and 20 to 25 free links per page and if your pages has a lot of room its still gonna look bare..

i have linkadmin and would recomend it and it really hasnt gave me any problems at all

First question is really hard to answer because it really depends on what you want to offer as a link list (features etc) for both the user and webmaster.

Question 2...another hard one to answer, but you would want to have at least 10 sites showing in each category if you can.

Setting up a link list or directory is a LOT of work, so I hope you have plenty of time and like strong coffee :)

1. Link Admin
2. 30

But as others have said, make sure you know what you're getting into before devoting a lot of time into it. :)
