My first free site, would you list it?

This is my first free site and I was looking for some feedback.
Please let me know if you would list it.

No..

You have thumbs linking to the sponsor. That is considered a blind link and not allowed.

Your free site is named the same as the paysite. Free site should be called Naughty Blonde Model or something like that.

DonX 2005-09-20 01:20 PM

Thanks Ramster,
What do you mean I have thumbs linking to my sponser? It's a banner
Thank you

DonX 2005-09-20 01:22 PM

Ramster,
All of my thumbs are linking to the big image. Not sure what you mean, please explain.
Thank you

Blind text link on top of index.
Many links out on 2257 page.
Webmaster link on bottom of index. (That's a personal pet peeve of mine. Market your free sites to surfers.)
MONSTROUSLY blind banner due to fake thumbs on the rest of the pages, as Ramster said.
Full size image weight too heavy. I'm seeing 150kb+. Keep them below 80 or so.
Pics on second gallery don't seem to follow a logical order.

I'm afraid I wouldn't list this site either for the reasons stated above.

DonX 2005-09-20 02:48 PM

Thanks to everyone that gave me some feedback.
I made the changes you suggested, please take a look.

Sorry for sounding dumb but what is a "blind link" I thought I could put a link in my banner, but from what I'm understanding your saying that a link in my banner is a "blind link" Or am I misunderstanding?
Thank you

Lemmy 2005-09-20 03:02 PM

A blind link is a link that takes the surfer somewhere else than he thought it would. Banners that have what looks like clickable thumbs are by many considered to be blind.

DonX 2005-09-20 03:11 PM

Ok, thanks Lemmy, I can see why they didn't like my other banner then. What about the banner I'm using now?
Thank you

Lemmy 2005-09-20 03:24 PM

Personally I wouldn't have a problem with it since it's animated.

Ramster 2005-09-20 03:30 PM

Now it mostly follows the rules. But anytime you use a banner with thumbs in it you may not get listed. Your banner is a gif so the thumbs only show up half of the time but it is still an issue.

Now make the site better. Add what we call sales text. Your pages look plain now. Talk about the site using good keywords too for the search engines. Like... Kylie is so dirty at this amateur site you can watch her get off using toys and fingers and she evens sucks a cock too. Check it all out right here. (then link to the banner too)

Ditto...

But your main page is really bland, get some text on it like Ramster said.

Am I getting closer guy's? http://www.donsnaughtymodels.com/1/free/kylie/1/
I know I need to build some new banners that are a little more user friendly and not misleading as I know it will help make the free site look better.
Thank you very much to everyone that gave me some feedback.

"CLICK HERE TO SEE SOME SMOKING HOT AMATEUR BABES "

"CLICK HERE TO JOIN NOW, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID "

These are considered blind links, put the sponsers name in the text. If you did that and added my recip I'd list you even without a 2257 statement, but others might require that.

You know you can and should put ads on your index page, when I check my stats thats where probably 1/2 to 3/4 of sales come from. Also you can have 3 sponsor links per page, you may as well use em. Many ll's would find 180kb+ a bit big for full size pics, not everyone is on broadband.
My two cents. Hope it helps :D

Ramster 2005-09-20 10:53 PM

Click Here To Join Now is okay I think. It says Join Now.

The other one, ..Amateur Babes.. should say at 'sponsor name' usually to be accepted. Usually...

Agreed. I can be an absolute cocksucker when it comes to text links, or so I'm told ;) , but if it uses anything like 'Join Now' or some other indication that the surfer is going to a paysite, it's fine with me.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out |peace|
