Why won't "come" as "cum" just die?!
 

Anyone else extremely tired of seeing cum being used as come in a terrible pun as old as the internet itself?

ie:
Cum and watch our beautiful models.
If you cum to our site you'll see more movies like these.

etc. etc.

LOL - I'm guilty of that more often than not :D

I usually use it as a double meaning tho, not just to replace c-o-m-e. ie: "Cum with the hotties at paysite.com" not "Cum and see the hotties at paysite.com". Do you see the difference?

well I just like the word spelled like that - it's so, well, suggestive ;)

It's definetly one of my pet peeves in adult. I put it right up there with "how r u". Which isn't pertinent to adult, but it still bugs me.

You have to admit though as we progress more and more of our audience will have been weened on internet shorthand and chat speak. lol lmao afk ttly to name a few. But yeah the cum one is definitely well used!

I don't understand so much of what my viewers say in cam shows. They are all hip to the latest stupid-ass abbreviations, so I like look a confused old lady on WebTV when they have to school me on what everything means.

I've always been one for complete sentences, decent spelling and grammar, and real words, but I'm surely in the minority of internet users.

what's this complete sentence thing you're talking about...I used to be really bad at flipping back and forth between English and internet English when I was writing but I can pretty much do everything from send an email to my boss (day job) to talk likE tHiS U No?????

I'm just wondering how many people that have English as a second language see "cum" being used all the time and are now writing it else where :)

The abbreviation will never go away. Its just plain easier to write, and spell cum than come.
Come has 33% more letters than cum, and cum has 25% less letters than come.

however, I typically use it because it sticks out. Most surfers scan text and don't really spend time reading whatever you have written - whether it is a large, quick text link or a long paragraph of text.

Cum gets their attention, is more playful and more sexually related. I think some people get confused when someone uses "come" when reffering to semen.

I think you just hit it :) I always thought that this is why you will see words misspelled on tours and whatnot - it catches the eye. If cum is what they're thinking of when they surf porn, then their eye will pick that out ;)

as an aside, I just looked at my last submit & I did use both 'cum' and 'come' on it :D

The same as using "kewl" for "cool". A magazine I sunscribe to uses that word (kewl) constantly, and that drives me crazier than "cum"! (of which I am also guilty of over-using)
