MPEG-quality-shrinking app?

Does anyone know a cheap program or something that you can batch process high quality MPEGs into lower quality ones?

Batch Process? Not sure about batch. But I bought Video Wave from Best Buy and it works great.

I know there's a batch option with TMPGEnc, although when I try to encode with that program, the files only seem to get bigger.

Yeah, I've tried that program too. Most options seem to be grayed out/unavailable and it more than doubles the file size. :(

try avi video converter that one is fast and does a great job. it does almost any file format

the best one I have found is Sorenson Squeeze, I am not sure if it handles batch processing but its well worth checking out.
