The iPod Nano was the star attraction for the hordes in Paris. Apple's latest candy-covered iPod, the Nano, comes in two or four gigabytes.

Aple also is going to offer OSX for Intel boxes!

Had an iPod for many years now. Just replaced my car's stereo with one that interfaces with my iPod.

Apple isn't offering Mac OS for Intel boxes it's switching to Intel chips for its boxes. You will still need to buy your box from Apple in order to run Mac OS on it. People will probably hack it to get it to run on non Apple boxes but then you are going to have driver issues and things like that.

I have a 15GB that I use almost every day whenever I leave the house... I'd consider trading for a nano if they ever come in 20+ GB sizes. :)

An iPod is really a whole music system and the iPod is just the part that goes where you go.

iTunes is really the whole front end to it. Most of the major music companies are selling through it and buying music is simple and cheap. You can even copy and paste URLs to share with friends. Using the Airport Express music can be streamed to your home stereo plus it becomes your WiFi network. Then when you leave home you just take all your music and playlists with you using your iPod. The iPod can also sync your address book and calendar plus store notes and can also be used as a drive to move files around.

I bought a pink one for my wife yesterday and her first thought was to regift it to her daughter. Nice, huh???

If you can, get it hard wired in - I have one of those FM broadcaster things that lets you plug it into the cigarette lighter & tune the radio to 88.3 or some unused channel & the static is very annoying.

If you live in the city like I do it is useless as there are no unused channels to use.

Just when you thought they couldn't make it any smaller.
