paysite?

How much content should I buy to start my website. remember this is just to start it out. I realize other sites have thousands of pics n videos but they have been operating for years. so on the day I launch how many should have of both pics n vids.

are feeds worth the money?

It's impossible to give you a good answer without knowing a little more because it depends a lot on your niche, your marketing and your compitition.

I've known some successfully launched sites with just over 3 hours of video and about 500 pics. Others may need 100 times that.

If it's a general hardcore site then you're going to need a lot of content. On the other hand if it's a micro niche such as a single girl or something like a POV site of smoking, stocking clad 7 foot Chinese women applying clown make up then you could probably start with 100 pics and 2 videos.

The more common the niche the more that surfers will expect in your member's area but if you[re the only site that has something and it's truly unique then they'll be happy with anything.

a couple of things I am considering, I have not made up my mind yet as to
the niche. I have a domain it is adultsmutstars.com and that would work for pornstars. but I kinda want something that is a little less saturated(okay a lot less). So I thought of hentia site. Maybe a teen site with a sub niche. shaved teens or somehting like that. how much could should with those choices.

You really need to know what it is you are doing when it comes to a paysite. Have a niche you know and enjoy so you know how to market it.

It doesn't matter how many pics you have. What matters is how many sets you have. Having 10 models with 200 pics per set would not be as good as having 20 models with 100 pics per set. Offering variety is good until you know what your members like.

Feeds are usually worth it starting out since you do not have much content. Camz offers live cams for $100 for starter sites.

Feeds suck (sorry Ramster)
A feed does not a paysite make. They should always be kept in perspective that they are only filler, and nothing more.

If I'll ever open a paysite I'll choose a niche that I'm getting the most traffic to.
Why?
1- I know what sells what not.
2- I already know what the surfer is looking for >> better retention
3- I'll have to drive most of the traffic myself as not a lot of affiliates would promote it.

For a big sponsor,he can start any niche as he already have wm that would promote the site for him.

if you are going exclusive then you don't need that much content but do make sure you got something unique and that you keep updating it.

Are you going with content plenty of other have, then you need to make sure you have a fat wallet and make sure you can offer enough to keep that surfer in and not have him go to another because they have more. Meaning a lot of niches. Might be even costing you more then excluse content.

I would watch out wich feeds you take because i have seen plenty that do not update as they say they do. And some just rotate their old fucked up content between their lastest stuff. So you should really have a good look at that. And now i was talking about some big guys.

good luck
