msanchez 2005-10-13 09:20 AM

ponygirl 2005-10-13 09:48 AM

I submit to just some friends...occasionally :)

cybersexhound 2005-10-13 10:12 AM

Im at 36 - guess I need to boost that number a bit :)

neveremail 2005-10-13 10:36 AM

150 - Will probably delete about 20 or so when I do my monthly review. But I'm also finding many small ones to add all the time.

MrYum 2005-10-13 11:26 AM

Was at 108 for quite a while.

Recently pared that down to the top 48 with very little effect on overall traffic flows.

I use advanced submitter.

It makes the recip tables for me each time with a click of the button.

I then submit by hand using its internal browser. It fills th forms for me, I check it is right, make any changes needed then click submit. Also keeping an eye for rule changes is important to.

I would not recomend using the autosubmit function when dealing with LLs.

neveremail - do you check each warning page? I get a few submits (not from yourself I don't believe) where some LLs recips are illegible due to the fact they dont hard code the text color, so if their table background is white and the freesite is using white, yellow, skyblue etc. as it's base text color then that's where problems can arise.

so that's why I see that all the time. I wondered why some recip tables looked really bad. I've never used a submit program, it's always by hand so I'm not really familiar with how to tell if someone is using an autosubmitter.

Yeah I do. Dont think it makes any difference if you submitted by hand. Just have to be careful how your submit tables look with the freesite template.

What is your LL Jel?

Yep, I decline a few submits every day because of the recip being nearly invisible.

Seems to be pretty much the same submitters over and over again. Obviously, they're not looking at the recips before submitting |dizzy|

where do you guys find all these linklists? right now i have a list of 40 or so. i saw a list of 250 but damn, that would take ages by hand. is it all a matter of trial and error, adding and removing the ones that don't send traffic? i guess for now i'll stick to the big ones and see how it goes but i'll definitely want to expand who i submit to in the future.

I post to 16 - 30, depending on niche. I use RoboForm's Filler, just to fill the common stuff like url, name, email, etc. then hand enter any variables unique to the site.

I made an HTML page with all the submit urls on it, and I just click down the list to submit. Works for me. |thumb

Yep, sounds exactly like the system I use |thumb

Simple html page with a link to each list's submit page...opening in a new window. With the form filler...makes for a pretty efficient submission process.

Only difference is I create 3 versions of each site. Each targetting different words...16 link sites on each...so 48 total.

Using Roboform...submissions take well under an hour :)

tom69 2005-10-14 10:30 AM

Maybe you can post urls to the biggest LL that your are submiting :)
