Free content from sponsors

I know many of the bigger linklists don't allow content from sponsors, still there are many webmasters + linklists that do like/allow it.

Im about to make some "packages" with free content that we'll give out to our webmasters (pictures). What do YOU the webmasters want? What Im thinking of making is packages containing 20 high quality pictures (100-120kb each) is that what most of you want? If now what do you want?

I'd say 30 pics (that should cover all the free site makers & is more than enough for the gallery people) and I'd also suggest that they are all the same orientation - like all 800x600 & not a mix, like 15 800x600 & 15 600x800.

I would do something like 50+ pics per set so that the webmasters have a choice and don't all end up using the exact same pics.

Being that I'm working on my first free site after many months of hiatus, I'm going to say the same thing as those two no-names that have posted before me.;) Give at least 30 and expect to see 20-24 used by most free site builders. Being able to pick and choose is a big help because we all have different ideas of what we want to tease with.

So long as you offer plenty of packages (20 each) I can mix and match for my use. More per package is even better :)

Oki good answers here :) I'll do my best, but various licenses give me headaches haha :) What if its the same girl, only two different sets? you can pic out of the 20 for two galleries (10-15 pics pr gallery?) so total you get 20-30 pics?

Useless 2005-10-13 10:43 AM

A series of 30+ is better than two separate series of 15. But that would really depend on the site and how it's being marketed. I personally prefer to work with one solid series of pics.

Yep, I've always preferred to use the same set in both galleries too.

Also, try to keep watermarks (if used) small and unobtrusive.

To clarify my first post a bit. Many times the same model will be used in different niche. So say she is featured in a big boob set. Then a hardcore or lesbian set. She still has big boobs. :D

I would say as many as possible. When I ran a genuine link list I did not mind sponsor material as long as it was not overused. If each set has 30 pics it won't be long before it is overused, but if each set has a couple of hundred photos it will be a hell of a long time before it is overused.

One thing Ive noticed which I think would help out allot is to show the packages by site it promotes instead of generic catagories. It is nice when you can say the images are samples of the site you are promoting.

RE: "It is nice when you can say the images are samples of the site you are promoting." - Yes assuming they are. If someone is told "these are samples from XXXX.com", then sign up to your site expecting to see the rest of the set, and don't, you are liable to get complaints and charge backs. A trick I use is to only give out about half of a photo shoot to affiliates, then put the entire photo shoot together in a special area inside the member's area and point to it clearly in the menu. This avoids getting angry emails or charge backs. However I don't give out a lot of free content. If you are going to give out as much as some sponsors this might be unworkable.

No I don't, that is just a bonus :)

Id say that for every set of content you give out make a hosted free site with it :)
Also I would recommend that it not be the exact same content that you and your other worker there are submitting to the LLs - kinda makes for a bad situation when you get two submits from your reps and then a free site builder also submits the same set

If you run a linklist and get 30 freesites submited with 20 pics chosen from a set of 30 vs. 20 pics fom a set of 100, would that really make any difference on the number of those freesites that you'd list.. I mean, it would still be 30 sites with pics of the same girl or from the same serie, so they would still be very much alike..

guess it would depend also if anyone is actually checking if pics are exact matches or just remember seeing those pics allready..

Still, is allways nice to have enough pics to work with, from the freesite builders point of view ;)
