what to expect on TGP submit?
 

hello
i started submitting 2 weeks ago, using chameleon, and so far my ratios goes like 0:40, diferrent sponsors.
i would like to know what to expect and how can i improve this.

that's hard to answer without a lot of information...if you just started submitting two weeks ago I wouldnt expect a sale to soon. It took me three months before I got my first one. You may want to post a link to one of your galleries. People here seem to be pretty good and criticizing sites so you can make improvements.

i've heard their database isn't so great. make your own and make sure you are actually getting listed and maybe you'll have better luck but like 2msacras said, you didn't give me info.

I dont think you have to make your own database but you I customized mine like crazy. Adding TGP's that you know you'll get listed at - things like that. As far as your gallery it looks fine to me. I'll let some of the experts comment on that.

If this is a sample of what you submit then you aren't getting listed most place, You need at least 3 different places. In other words if you were submitting to me I would expect mine and two others. Real others and places you actually submit to. Putting up your own recips or recips to places you don't submit to may work in the short term on a few places. However the bigger site owners all know each other and you you can't get away with cheating.

So bottom line 3-4 places you submit to at the top.

The gallery itself looks fine :)

A few things you should correct.

1. That bottom link, most tgp's will consider that blind linking and you won't get listed.

2. I would make the thumbs a little clearer...most tgp's are getting upwards of 500 to 600 submits a day, a good sharp looking thumb helps.

As for Chameleon's database, basically it has a lot of tripe in it. Weed out the ones that won't list you, search the boards for the "big" tgps you should try to submit to and get partner accounts to. It's a very hard market now as the big tgp's have gone green and the ones that haven't the partner accounts are very hard (if not impossible) to get.
