for me it looks not good, but...

Heh. Innovative, and probably against the terms of every sponser he has.

If it's not then he's probably scamming the surfer. Either way, I'd avoid it like the second coming...which is coming by the way, the signs are everywhere!

ya, I've seen the site before too, and that was my first thought - do his sponsors know he's doing this? I mean geez, everyone would be doing it. I do believe that won't be around for long ;)

The idea isn't really anything new...it was tried some time ago and really ticked off a number of affiliate programs.

This guy 'claims' his sponsors know about it and agree. Time will tell as other affiliates notify the sponsors involved.

Unless he really does have a special arrangement with the sponsors, he does tell the surfer at least one lie I noticed. Namely, that he only gets paid the amount of the trial price...which he then refunds to the surfer. He claims to only make money if the surfer converts to full membership. Possible I suppose, if he's set up some special deal with the programs.

Well, actually if this guy sent surfers using revshare program, it wouldn't be a problem for sponsors. It's his own decision to return money to surfers or not. But I think he sends traffic to persignup program and in this case it may be considered as cheat by most sponsors.

As long as he doesn't say anything to encourage surfers to cancel after trial or teach them how to cancel or even do a chargeback, then he's probably wading safely in gray water. I wouldn't want do that type of site because I wouldn't want this kind of attention or speculation.

What are you looking at? Stop staring!

That is illegal as far as most sponsors are concerned.

He is paying people to signup to free trials and he "explains" how long the free trial is and that if you do not cancel it your credit card will be rebilled.

Simply put he pays people to signup to free trial sites and explains that you need to cancel in order to not be billed. Sponsors are being scammed...period.
