Promoting with members area content?
 

Dumb Question, but

I am always seeing posts where people are saying they use members area content to promote their sponsors... Does that mean that they joined the program and took the content out of the member's area? Or that they asked their sponsor for access? I would think that most sponsors wouldn't want to have their members area content all over the TGPs and LLs for free...

you can ask the sponsor for a user/pass to the members area..

then grab some vids or pics and build galleries with..

for sure sponsors don't want to see their full movies on the net :) but small video clips or 15pic/galleries are ok :)

You need permission form the sponsor if you're going to do that, but most programs have free content in their affiliate area that they set up for webmaster to use.

yes.. sometimes you can't use all the content inside of a members area because of licenses ..

just ask the sponsor what you can use .

GG is right.. these days sponsors have big promo areas with zipped picture sets or cutted video clips

That usually means they got a password to grab content. Some sponsors will say not to do this or that but otherwise the content is there and some people are allowed to use it.
