Im sure everyone has seen those little snippets on the news channels when they are talking about the new "bird flu" - its always a picture of a drug called Tamiflu made by Roche - which if ya do some checking - wont even fight the avian flu - just shortens the time you have it.

Well - a little detective work later - the patent for Tamiflu is held by a little company called Gilead Sciences, Inc. with intellectual property rights (which means they get a cut of sales)
An amazing fact develops if you look at who was their chairman of the board until 2000 - no other than Mr Don Rumsfield - secy of defense. And is still on the board of directors as well as owning a huge stock share percentage. I guess that explains why the US ordered 20 mill doses at $100 per recently - nice little 2 bill sale

I actually heard that the US was thinking of allowing companies to break the patent rule just for this one so that it can be mass produced (by some company that a cocksucking Republican owns)

Ever hear of Chandra Levy? She was quite the talk of the town in Wash DC for some time when she dissapeared - but what kinda got missed was the tale of a young lady named Lori Klausutis. If ya google her name you'll find loads of info about this young lady who died of "natural causes" in Scarborough's office back in July 2001. Of course the medical examiner that pronounced her cause of death has been fired and declared totally incompetent - but no one has ever persued this in the news media - they didnt want to out one of their own :)

This is for one year in the US alone

In the year 1997 they published statistics that approximately 100 kids are abducted and killed each year in the US - so the news picks up one story - usually about a beauty queen or rich blonde - and the other 99 are tossed in the garbage
