beginner's luck?
 

Hi everyone again, back to the forum. had to register again...lol

First I would like to know if anyone is having problems with the GD worm that is invading e-mails and what you guys are doing about it.

Second, I wonder if I had beginners luck, I sent this gallery to thehun.com and I got published!

Which gave me and unbelivable 30 000 hits in one day!

Now I sent this one and no response so far,

Is there anything wrong with it?

Anyone of you guys would publish it or it is too bad?


I just wanted to have a "safe" place to send my galleries knowing that I would have a chance of being listed.

When it comes to gallery submissions I wouldnt put to much thought into worrying about it, especially when it comes to the Hun, not everything there is a gauruntee b y any means, but once you build a good history of nice clean submissions for a consistant period of time, than things will be a little more "normal".

No offense, but you can tell the Hun listed you - your server seems very slow :(

As far as the worm, Norton & Zone Alarm have caught everything so far (knock on wood) It seems to be dying down a bit - no more 10,000 email days :D

30,000 hits? Sounds like either your site crashed, your counter's broken, or something else is wacky. The Hun sends at least 100k per day to a gallery on his main page.

Well, I had the feeling that my server is too slow, but I sign with yahoo... I thought they would have a better service as it is the most popular web site in the world but I guess I was wrong...

Is there anything I can do to solve my problem with speed? Or the only way is to change my server?
If the last is the answer could yo guys tell me a good host with good speed but CHEAP?? LOL


Anyway, I don`t mean to bore anyone but here is the reasons why and how I have decided to try a porn web site, It is kind of long, but it has some interesting concepts that you guys might find enjoyable.

As far as the hun traffic, you might be right Rictor, as that is what my stats sent me, but with my lack of experience I might be doing something wrong or not chekcing it right.

Ditto..I generally get around 75-150k per Hun listing.

Don't worry too much if he doesn't list that. Submissions are either hit and miss, and they can be very profitable if you have the right submission combination down for each niche :). Just keep trying, and never cheat!

As far as the worm....lets not talk about that!

The only thing I can add to what others have said concerning TheHun is that sometimes it takes a while for a gallery to be accepted, if it is. I just had one accepted that was submitted the first of this month. This isn't always the case, for at times I've had them accepted within 2 days of submitting. I'm sure there are many factors which controll the speed in which galleries are accepted.

Congrats on your listing. If you keep submitting galleries like that to thehun I am sure he will list most of them. You have practicaly no advertising. I think you should up the advertising more on the next gallery you build. You will be less likely to be listed but when you do... sales will come in.

Also, in what position did he list you? I have noticed with the hun that if galleries are listed dead smack middle of his list traffic is around the 30k to 50k range, with low listings being around 75k to 100k. Listings more towards the top would net up to 150k hits. the hun is a tricky place to work with. Personaly I would not touch them if you are new in the biz. He likes to give new guys a chance and list a few galleries to give people a taste of mass traffic but this can be horrifying with minimal advertising. Trust me, I lost money cause of submitting to him when I first started out.

If it is one thing I have learned, a slow host is NOT acceptable in this biz. In fear of sounding like I am biased I will reccomend you get in contact with my buddy sly. He can hook you up good on a server package. If you have icq contact him at 147479144

It's not how many hits you got from the Hun listing - it's whether or not you got any *sales*?
One sale can buy a lot of bandwidth. :)

There are two major factors in how long it takes t get listed with the hun or any mass traffic tgp. 1.) Is the content fresh. 2.) what do I need to fill my cats today. That's why it takes longer for teens and amateurs...everyone is submitting them and he doesn't need more. However, if you are the only submitter with black babes peeing he will list you in a heart beat :D
