I'm still unpacking...

Morning all :)

Still getting up at sunrise since I'm still sleeping with my windows and blinds open since I still don't have power.

Yesterday they came and removed the broken tree limbs from the wires behind my house. The pole was so rotted that it broke off at ground level as they were pulling the limbs out of the wires. I see one new pole and transformer laying on the ground but now I have three broken poles and one laying at a 45 degree angle.

People are losing it in my neighborhood being without power this long. This happened right up the street from me in a condo. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/loc...home-headlines

Trying to figure out when my new display is going to arrive. When I look at my order status since yesterday it just says will ship by November 8. Guess that means today but other places that I've bought stuff from gives more useful info like a tracking number. Paid extra for overnight shipping so watch it arrive tomorrow while I'm at the doctors office.

Espresso and another 5 gallons of fuel is now being served.

Wow, still without power. :(

Another grumpy day on the selena front. I'm having a tough time with my oldest son right now, and my sleep is sucky because of it.

On a brighter note, it looks like another very nice day for November in southern Indiana. Which means one less day that I have to worry about how much it is going to cost to heat this house.

It's a nice Autum day today, a very low hanging sun, a bit windy and lots of brown and orange leaves.
I think it's about time to remove the tape that holds my pinky finger to my ring finger and give the fellows their freedom back...

Got 2 tickets to Barcelona from a friend. So I will be spending my b-day there. I'm so looking forward to it, never been there before :)

OMG, I see two trucks of electric crews in front of my house! Last night I got an automated call from our electric company saying that my power had been restored and to press 2 if this was incorrect.

My neighbor across the street and me has been betting on who will get power first. She just has just one broken wire and power is one house away from having power. I have three broken poles and I'm three houses away from having power. Oddly they seem to be fixing the worst problems first so I have my hopes up that today will be my lucky day.

I'm just very thankful for having the foresight to have bought a generator and supplies at the beginning of this year's storm season and that the weather has been very pleasant with very little real need for A/C.

Who knows… I may be able to turn on my central A/C and sleep in with my windows and blinds closed tonight. Crossing my fingers, arms, legs, toes, tits, and ears.

We are cutting trees again. The price of the type of trees I have is at it's peak so down they come :) I just heard from my logger.

I have all my boys lined up for putting up Christmas Lights Friday because 2 days ago it was supposed to be up to 70 degrees. Today I see, possible snow Thursday and Friday.

My face itches and I'm unusually gassy this morning. Otherwise, it's another fine day in the neighborhood.

Why not do like we do in the bible belt and just leave them up all year :D

Lets see - temp yesterday was around 90 and had to run the air conditioner most of the day - looks like a repeat today

I'll be pacing until 1230pm today...

Just talked to the electric crews outside of my house. There is eight trucks out there now and they say I will have power today. I feel like a little girl at Christmas. :)

Damn Cleo, you got the whole company working for you! Just don't tell them about the tranny and the midget!

My car is in the shop so I am trapped at home today. Check engine light came on, I checked, the engine was still there. Deal says it "got codes"... so we will see what they dream up.

Time to make the porn.

Alex when my Vette got caught in the pre-storm flooding one of my sensors for the traction control system must have gotten water in it and the check engine light would come on as it displayed traction control system failure engine power reduced and then the car would only go 22 mph until I pulled over and cleared out all the codes. I would have brought it into the shop but with the hurricane nothing was open and now after drying out for a week all seems to be fine.

I found out how to get into the codes on this page. You may want to do a Google search for your make and model.

Damn, I am always gung ho to enroll in school classes, but then it all piles up and then school really sucks. Probably would help if I didn't procrastinate so much ;)

I'm really tired of raking the leaves that fall from trees on the neighbors property on to mine.|angry| So later tonight around nightfall, back they go onto their friggin' properties. Fuckers.

Anyhow, got a gazillion things to do and I pretty much don't know where to start so sometime this afternoon, all you reviewers, expect something from me and puh-lease, try to be kind. |dizzy|

Morning!! I absolutely love the fall. All of the trees are beautiful today, and make driving anywhere like going to an art museum!

Would it be ok to choke a dog and its owner?

It's been barking since early this morning, it woke me up and right now it's 5:30 PM. I was sitting on the balcony working before, but had to go in because it was so annoying.
Too bad I can't figure out exactly where the barking is coming from.

Great news Cleo!
It's official the crane will be here in the morning to put up the new ac tower on our condo, so hopefiully we will have AC again by the weekend :)
