Alternate ways to offer an affiliate program

Hi,

I am trying to push a paysite with decent traffic and conversion rate, what interests me is how to generally advertise our own affiliate program.

I tried:

1} Mail offers, but I actually recieved one answer from 340 mails sent. I supppose most of my mails had to be regarded as a SPAM mail (which is quite unfair because I had some serious work and expectations with it :)), I also posted this to each webmaster separately.

2} Other way I try is to participate on the Adult webmaster forums, I found some fellow mates, but it's a long way till I get recognized there and not accused of spamming, which I try to avoid nowadays.

3} The registration of domains and setting up the free movie sites which I want to engage to the Free MGP sites, that's in progress now, but this is more focused on new users and traffic.

4) a paid advertisement - didn't tried yet, as I am not sure with the efficiency and very careful on releasing funds (approx price about 1 400 USD / month).

Is there any system, which would be able to connect me with a list of reliable webmasters for a decent sales commission?

Best Regards,

Carlos

To answer points 1 and 2: don't spam. Don't spam boards, don't spam email addresses. It doesn't matter if you put a lot of effort into writing your spam, if it's an unsolicited commercial, it's still junk mail. No one likes spammers, and it's a quick way for people to dislike your sites.

As for point 4, give it a go. You have to spend money to make money in this business, and boards are generally more forgiving of spam from their sponsors. It's a nice gesture of goodwill to anyone you may have spammed, and it will reach webmasters who never heard of you in the first place.

You should also consider devoting some ad budget to potential site customers, which may or pay not be a better use of funds. Give them both a go and see what's the best use of money. I'm a small webmaster, and I've spent thousands of dollars this year testing out different paid ads for my sites. Some work, some don't, and you can only figure it out by testing the waters.

Yes, that system is called hard work, networking, building relationships with fellow webmasters, offering a quality product that converts and retains, and always paying affiliates on time. There's no easy answer or quick fix when getting started, just start with the above-mentioned points, and best of luck for running a reliable, profitable program for everyone!

GG has a forum where you can post your product.
Products and/or Services offered
You should also keep an eye on the I Looking For... forum for posts that might match your sites.

Putting up a banner here has obviously worked well for many.

Look around and find the best possible sources of traffic for your site (outside of search engines). Notice that I used the word "best" and not biggest. Those might be niche specific link lists, TGPs, top lists or whatever. Then figure out how to advertise at those spots. Many site owners that get webmaster submits will post banners for $$$ and if you're targeting the right webmasters then it could be gold.

Many link lists will accept submissions of paysites as long as there's an affiliate program they can join and temporary login info so we can review the member's area before listing/joining the program. Mine is one of them :) Submit away

We hold the webmaster poker tourneys on a daily basis. We require all players to be affilaites to be able to claim the prize. On average, we have 40 to 60 webmasters play in each tourney. You will get tons of exposure, banner spots on our webmaster tourney page, found thru sig, and much more. Fell free to icq me, and we will get you set up asap!

Oh shit, so *that* is the real secret to being wildly successful in the adult industry! Here I thought it was all about hard work and offering a quality product.
