Board Tracker?
 

I signed up for a Board Tracker free account a few days ago. I've been getting a couple dozen massive (300-500k) emails every day since, with maybe 300 results between them per day. The thing is, none of them seem to be relevant or contain my keywords in any way. My keywords are:

furrygirl.com, eroticred.com, vegporn.com, vegsexshop.com, menstruation, menstruate, vegetarian, vegan, organic

The only time in the thousand or so threads they'd emailed me (although I haven't thoroughly checked each), was someone who made a joke about vegetarians. There will be a spam for some sponsor having new anal galleries, and I'm getting emailed. I realize you get what you pay for, and I have a free account, but I'm not likely to pay for a service that sends me an email every 10th time someone starts a thread on any adult board.

So, why am I getting emailed *hundreds* of threads a day when none of my search terms are in them? Is Board Tracker just glitchy? Are their bots looking at a keyword like "furrygirl.com" and sending me an email every time someone uses the word "girl"? I'm not trying to knock the service, I just don't understand why I'm getting LOADS of threads sent to me when I have pretty unusual keywords.

That does sound strange - does the free version tell you what word set off the alert?

Example - the ones I get have this:
Keywords matching: greenguy

Nope, it just says something like "keywords matching: upgrade to premium".

He's supposedly in beta, so maybe there are some gliches.

The cause for this is the *.com items you have in your search term..

Hey there Ron, while we've got your attention. I realize you're in beta and Joe and Raven talked to you about getting our board listed and we've even offered to pay but cant seem to get it done. We used to be listed when we were called Webmaster Safari, but since we changed the name to Klixxx Forums, we have not been RE-listed. You've been in beta since about August, but I'm just wondering how difficult it would really be to add our board since we are one of the higher trafficked business related boards out there.

I think you've got a great service, but it's getting a little frustrating not being part of it.

I also remember in August at Internext talking to Ron about re-adding the board for Klixxx...and I was told it would be done....

Plus, the stats aren't back yet. :(

I was able to get Ron to re add a board after software was changed but no one told him about it. Very cooperative and nice guy with a nice service.

That picture was taken in Key West during FantasyFest on the roof of The Bull.

The roof is actually a clothing optional bar and when that pic was shot there was a nekkid woman 1 foot away from me being body painted.

Raven...actually I think you guys are some of the only people in the business to meet her.

The glasses.... they have an entire different story involving Comdex, Spam, and vampire bats. I blogged about the vampire bats aspect a bit back actually.

Whee! As of 8:31am, the two threads I've gotten actually have one of my keywords in them. (Besides this thread, of course.) Thank you, Ron! I imagine I'm not the only one who has my domain as a keyword, so hopefully that will clear things up for others users, too.

2 questions:

1 - you guys ranking the adult boards again?

2 - I see you have added a lot of sub categories for adult - would it be beneficial for us to have some of our specific forums moved into them? Like out "Link ZLists & Getting Listed" forum would be perfect for the "Free Sites" sub-category.
