Went to my neighbor's place and watched Hitchhiker's Guide for like the forth time in a week. Then when I went to leave I tripped my car's alarm, it locked the steering wheel column and would not release it. My car was blocking his driveway so he couldn't leave either. Called GM road side assistance who were no help but did dispatch a tow truck that was going to show up some day. While waiting I used his computer to Google a fix and went on my way. Guess I should bring my Vette to the dealer before it happens again. Steering column lock was recalled but it has already been fixed once. Maybe my next car should be Toyota again. |banghead|

Still haven't made it to the mall to pickup needed stuff so I may do that today. Went yesterday to pickup some other stuff needed for the house down on Los Olas only to find the one store that I needed stuff from was closed for no reason at all. |banghead|

Then again maybe I should just go back to bed and sleep for a few days. |goodidea

I have all my children coming over today to go through our attic. There is just so much there that was my Mother's that I decided it was time they got some of it.

And, we had a pretty big scare the last 2 days with my youngest daughter that is gone now. So, I think a lot of today will be just a relaxing deep breath.

Well, I allowed my neighbors to cut down a mature pine that stood on a the border of our properties yesterday. Now my side yard seems bare. Ya think I should pop over to Lowes and buy a sappling to plant in its place? :D

You know, I sat in this miserable house for well over a year and thought I liked being here, working from home. But now that I've been working out of the house lately, and I've been off for the last few days, it's driving me nuts. Get me out of here!!! |crazy|

After 5 months the contractors were finally here yesterday to finish the job, now we have one returning this morning to put the finishing touches in (who just arrived) and we should be done with having to "de porn" the house for a long while since I can not think of any reason non porn people will ever be in our house anytime soon.

It's nice knowing that the worse is over in regards to having people you don’t know showing up out of the blue to work on something that should have been done months ago when they started the job, nothing like having someone knocking on the door as you are trying to rip cameras off the walls and make sure nothing is out that shouldn’t be out.

It’s a cold 60F so far with a high of 67F, not much planned today other then the usual crap that I do daily.

I think you should buy a bunch of old washers, dryers, car axles, couches, chairs, pink flamingos and give your yard a "southern" look. :D

My principle fear (and I have many) is that their tenant, if he ever gets a car, may decide to jump the curb and park there. He is the same guy who threatened to have me driven from the community last week for wearing a "porn shirt". (No, he doesn't know about my sites) He is even more unstable than me, which is saying A LOT. I've already informed my wife, if the man steps foot on my side of the imaginary line, I shall bury him where he falls. Perhaps I'll plant a tree in his memory. No point in that really. They'll only ask if they can cut the fucking thing down. :D

I hate commuting during the late fall/winter months. By spring they've all remembered how to drive in the weather, just in time for the weather to improve.
