Changing Banners on Listed Sites, does it get you de-listed on your link list?

A sponsor I promote has just come out with a crop of new banners, and I wouldn't mind changing some out to keep them fresh on my freesites.

Banners would be roughly the same size as original (original might be 468x80 new might be 468x100 or vice versa) and I can leave the text alone so only the name of the banner would change.

I don't want to get in trouble, so figured I'd post and ask. If so, I'll just use them on new sites. Thanks everyone.

no problem on my LL, as I trust 95% of the submitters, also I've changed sponsors, content, page colors and never had any problems..

The most important thing is that the changes stay within the general rules...

like when I changed content, I made sure it matched the listed title of the site... a use your head type thing...

No problems here either for the most part. If I were to happen to stumble upon a banner that wouldn't have made the cut the first time though....but that's rare.

I really have had good luck with submitters.

Most LLs allow changing the advertising as long as it doesnt change the overall look or feel of the site itself - and still complies with the rules

No probs here either :)

No problem I think ;)

Never had a problem doing that, as long as your changing banners around the same size and not doing crap like adding extra links it should be fine. In fact a few big sponsor's removed all their old banners and put up all new ones for us to use instead when the 2257 crap was going on, so I can't imagine a link list removing your sites for being on top of things like that.

If I read LL rules well, what's forbidden is "negative changes to the page". So unless you switch to a non authorisez sponsor I wonder why you would get delisted

Yup V...should be just fine |thumb

The only criteria I'm aware of is that the sites still comply with the rules. I've had to swap out some dead sponsors in the past with no ill effects to listings.
