Asian 4 You RIP..:(

I just got this in email:

Quote:

Dear Webmasters, It has been almost 4 years since Asian4you was launched into the Internet with our goal to be one of the best Asian sites. We feel that the goal has been reached and the fun and excitement in running the website have become less and less. This leads us to the point that we must look for a new opportunity, new kind of site, new partnership outside Asian niche market. Therefore, we are really sorry to let you know that we will close Asian4you. The last rebilling date as well as the last new signup day will be December 15, 2005. We will take our tour and joining pages off. That will make your links to asian4you broken. So, please remove or change those links on your websites on December 15, 2005. However, Asian4You's member area will be closed on January 15, 2006. Thank you very much for your support since we started Asian4You. It has always been our pleasure doing business with you guys. Regards Ken M.
Too bad..was a nice site..Now will have to look for a substitute.. |cry|

(they didnt sell that great anyway but)
this is sort of annoying cause 2 months ago or so I made a bunch of custom banners to use for thier site

Amber, I am curious, how did that come? CCBill broadcast mail?

Their site seems fine, their webmaster area not changed at all...

If you're looking for a new asian sponsor, then please start a thread over here:
http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...splay.php?f=20

We don't want a big "Asian Sponsor Spamfest" here in the main forum |shake|

Regular email, Alex
Was to the email I used for my ccbill accounts

RawAlex 2005-12-06 03:09 PM

Okay, because i haven't seen one, and I didn't find anything useful over at the zoo either, which would normally have the "program blowing up" thread going...

I will wait to see if I get contact from them.

Very strange mail.
Asian4You converts very well.

May be it's a hacker issue?

Hammer 2005-12-06 07:18 PM

If the site was making money and they just lost interest... well, my first question is how do you lose interest in something that's profitable, but if you do, why wouldn't you find someone else to run it or at least sell it? Something smells a little funny here.

RedCherry 2005-12-06 07:44 PM

I got one of those letters too, and wondered the same thing, if it was successful, I'd sell it instead of just letting it go down the tubes. Just took them off my banner rotators on my link lists. :(

digifan 2005-12-07 09:01 AM

I got the email too.. pity they have great content but we don't know what's going on in the background, do we?

whitey 2005-12-07 06:31 PM

maybe 2257 regs.

My thinking as well, probably hard to get docs on alot of those models. Too bad, the members area content was awesome

RawAlex 2005-12-07 06:41 PM

rscott, if that was the only issue, I would take the site over in Canada in an instant. I am sure that I could work something out with it. We are not bound by the same rules.

Save Asian 4 You! ;-)

Greenguy 2005-12-07 07:27 PM

Maybe Acacia?

freexxx365 2005-12-07 10:16 PM

I also got the same email.

whitey 2005-12-08 01:38 AM

I am puzzled as well as to why they just did not sell it.

RawAlex 2005-12-16 04:29 PM

Well, it is official. I link checked them today, and they are no longer accepting new members (tour is gone, signup page is gone, etc...)

*sigh*.

Too bad A4U was huge i heard they were
one of the top accounts on ccbill ,
all i know was that their rebills were insane .
