Who are the top 20 programs?

I was in a drunken discussion with a few friends last night about who the top 20 programs were. My friends seems to think that are in the top 10 but I don't even think we make it into the top 20.

What I am talking about is perception…who do you think are the top 20?

None of these programs are going to post their real numbers and if they do -- there is is 99% chance that they are embellished.

What do you consider the top 20 programs?

Ramster 2005-12-07 08:47 AM

Top 20? That is a big list. I assume you mean sales and not profit. I'll start off.

Nasty Dollars
Bang Bros
Top Bucks
Silver Cash
Traffic Cash Gold
Adult.com
AFF
Brain Cash
AEBN
Sunny Dollars
Flash Cash
Flynt Dollars
Light Speed
Pussy Cash
Medium Pimpin
Gamma
NS Cash

That's a start.

How about Maxcash? It used to be gigantic, but I guess removing the trial option on most of their sites was not the best idea ever. I would think Topbucks also runs a pretty big program.

Greenguy 2005-12-07 09:38 AM

ARS
Pimp Roll
Sunny Dollars
SIC Cash
Adult Paymaster
Platinum Bucks
WEG Cash
Flash Cash
Adult Players Club
Slick Cash
Pussy Cash
Silver Cash
Niche Wealth
Traffic Cash Gold
Massive Dollars
Brain Cash
Adult Cash
Porno Pushers
Fetish Hits
Quick Buck

So you think Quickbuck is bigger than Nasty Dollars or Topbucks?

Greenguy 2005-12-07 07:52 PM

I just grabbed the top 20 from my stats :D

Thats the problem with this question Jay - and I posted it on the other board you asked this question - you have to define top - whether you mean in conversions for a particular WM, the leading net profits, the gross income - there are a lot of different ways to define "top"

All we can ever know is our top based on our traffic. It isn't a math question...it a perection question. I want to see what people think.

emmanuelle 2005-12-07 10:09 PM

Some of those listed, I have never even heard of

Exactly. For me, some of the usual suspects (Top Bucks, BangBros, DeeCash, PimpRoll, Jason & Alex, et al) don't apply. They don't come close on my top anything list in either # of signups, total $ , etc. Pretty much any program that touts "Best conversions on the net" or "Give us your traffic and we'll make the stitching in your pockets burst" usually matches up with the overused/overpromoted list and don't yield anything for me. (Would be thrilled to get into that discussion another time in a new thread...) What usually ends up on the top end of my list are smaller more amateur sites, not really any of the huge programs. I'm one of those guys that has 60 programs in my statsremote and only 2 or 3 of them actually produce for me. |violin|

Ramster 2005-12-08 12:59 AM

I think what xxxjay means is top in terms of what people think are the top sponsors that generate sales. He is looking for people's perception on this. That is why he questioned a list without Nasty Dollars.

One of my top is Danni.com but I doubt they are in the top 20 compared to the huge programs out there.

ARS and MaxCash 2 years would be in there for sure but not now I doubt.

Linkster 2005-12-08 06:52 AM

Jay - thats the problem - most peoples perception of "large programs" (and when I say most I mean the whole community not just the LL owners here) are based on either the stats they see everyday or the rants about a program on a board and have nothing whatsoever to do with their real "bigness" - a good example would be topbucks that you used - while Greenie doesnt have them I know they would be one of your top sellers and one of mine as well. And where Greenie has ARS towards the top, I know it doesnt take much to be in the top50 WMs in sales for them so I can get a feel for how big they are.
On the other hand - there are some people that do things like one niche extremely well and their stats may show NS as their top program where you might not even have a link to their sites (dont know for sure LOL)

Heck Im sure that there are some people that would say a pill pusher or video reseller is a top program so while youre correct that it is perception - everyones perception will be jaded by their own experiences, as well as what gets posted by people they respect.

Jan Barnes 2005-12-08 09:32 AM

Linkster,

One way to define size would be to look at the number of people employed by one of the sites. The number of individuals working for an organization may imply the true size of the business, though this may not always hold true. For the companies listed above, on average how many people would they employ on a full time basis?

Ramster 2005-12-08 09:37 AM

No links to NS? Blastphemy!!!!!!!!!

:D

Linkster 2005-12-08 09:44 AM

Jan - unfortunately Id say that the number of full time employees would be a bad indicator as so many things are outsourced with most programs today - some of the largest programs have only 3 or 4 employees while much smaller programs have many more

I'd have to disagree- there are many successful operations that run on skeletal staffs. As we learned from the dot bombs, bloated, overstaffed companies equates neither successful nor profitable.

stuveltje 2005-12-08 01:25 PM

I could probably come up with a top 10:

1. Top Bucks
2. Nasty Dollars
3. Brain Cash
4. Silver Cash
5. AFF
6. Lightspeed
7. Adult.com
8. Flynt
9. Flash Cash
10. NS Cash

Useless 2005-12-09 05:58 PM

So the question is...which top 20 programs are 'perceived' to be the 'biggest' regardless of sales?

kit 2005-12-09 06:47 PM

My top 15 (I guess)

Nasty Dollars
Top Bucks
Sic Cash
Bang Bros
Silver Cash
Traffic Cash Gold
CybernetBucks
Brain Cash
Triplex Cash
ATK Cash
Light Speed
Gamma (all programs)
ARS
Platinum Bucks
NS Cash

Chop Smith 2005-12-09 06:48 PM

My favorite progam has not been mentioned. Damn, I am a busy man but I don't guess I will make it to that million before I am thirty

kit 2005-12-09 07:00 PM

I forgot about two good programs:
KarupsPC
Adult Players Club

Makes me think of a couple of my clients. The larger(about $3B/year) runs on about 50 employees, but, they have their fingers in about 500 different suppliers.

Vivaldi 2005-12-10 07:52 AM

2-3 years back I'd say MaxCash & ARS were the only one worth mentioning but that was purely on revenue that they made me. Now I tend to look at all those 'little things' as a big plus for a program like support, content, rewards, banner & tour design ... did I say revenue!? :-) So the list got bigger (in no particular order):
PimpRoll
ARS
TrafficCash
SliverCash
AdultFriendFinder
TopBucks
*************
FetishHits
SunnyDollars
PussyCash

I general I'd say Linkster got it right ... the ones that don't work good for me, unfortunately, I really have no idea how big they are.

Papa 2005-12-10 09:20 AM

I haven't made real money with any of those sponsors even after 8 years online !
I think you really need to find something that not too many "joe webmaster" advertise.
Also, niche sites like "gay white midgets ass fucked by big black men" hehehehehehe
Anyways, you get the point. It's useless these days to signup for a big program thinking you'll make big bucks with them. Unless you were there when they started or almost.
