names in my icq list
 

oke since 2 weeks i have icq5 because the old one died, now i have an problem, the names in my contact list are not in alphabetic order, i search my butt of if i need to message someone, does anyone know how to fix this...btw can it be fixed?

right click on where it says online (or offline, too), then click sort users, by name

The only thing I hate about the new way of sorting alphabetically is that each time I minimize, I have to re-sort by name. Most of the time I just click on Find User and type the name I am looking for.

mmmmmmmmm on this moment when i have minimize it all still come back alphabetic, icq has realy some pain in the ass issues lately

after some time, as people are signing off and on your list, the "newly signed on" users sift their way to the top of the list and you have to resort, yes. Mondo pain in the ass I agree!

Yep I wish there was some other chat program that webmasters and people in this field would use but ICQ seems to be the program of choice. So I keep on using it and there are a lot of annoyances with it.

The only reason i ever installed ICQ was because affiliate reps, and many others in the industry, etc refuse to talk to you anyway else. Everyone else I deal with daily uses yahoo... Which I guess is the least of all messenger evils (ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo) in my eyes :) There's nothing like getting 10+ ICQs a day out of the blue from some bot pretending to be a chick, "I am Russia. Do want to chat?" Fucking ICQ... And GobGook's getting way the hell off topic now LOL

i prefer googletalk but hey that's just moi..

i've had my same icq number since 1997..tried like hell to get people to convert to google talk but nope not yet..

and i'm still using ICQ2002.. works, no need to change
