Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..

Holy cow. I just went out to shovel the driveway.
By the time I was done, I had to do it again.

Must have gotten 6-8 inches already in the past 4 hours or so. Crazy.

Winter in Chicago. Gotta love it!

emmanuelle 2005-12-08 06:34 PM

It's too cold to snow here today

Surfn 2005-12-08 06:39 PM

We're getting it now with the lake effect snow we've been getting the last 4 days. If this keeps up I will need to tunnel out to the street.

Chop Smith 2005-12-08 06:42 PM

Keep that shit up there

Torn Rose 2005-12-08 06:58 PM

it's only 71F here...... brrr....

HC-Majick 2005-12-08 06:59 PM

this will be our first measurable snowfall of the season. they lowered the forcast amount from 8-10 to 4-7 inches starting after midnight thru tomorrow afternoon.

GeorgeTH 2005-12-08 07:27 PM

Snow - what's that like?

Seriously: not many people in Australia know about that white stuff - except what they have seen on television...
But then: the last few days here had been really hot and humid - nothing to be jealous about :D

Every year, I ask myself the same question: Why do I put up with this shit? I consider this part of the country to be inhabitable about 6 months out of the year, yet I live here year-round. Go figure.

Dr Bizzaro 2005-12-08 07:52 PM

I love the snow. (Now that I no longer really HAVE to drive anywhere.)

Taking the kids out sledding tomorrow.

Can't wait.

Traffic was a nightmare, so I hear. People driving 3 miles for 2 hours. UGH. What a mess. Serves them right for not working out of their house.

HC-Majick 2005-12-08 08:04 PM

DangerDave 2005-12-08 08:19 PM

You are such a teaser.....

MadMax 2005-12-08 10:42 PM

Snow sucks. I see the white shit falling all over the place out the window. Some white powder on the ground has a worse effect on people's driving around here than an equal amount of white powder up their noses would. The only thing worse than stupid people is stupid people driving in the snow.

RawAlex 2005-12-08 10:42 PM

Apparently airplanes aren't very good in that stuff...

Alex

Chop Smith 2005-12-08 11:01 PM

Looks like the people are safe

Greenguy 2005-12-08 11:44 PM

We're getting douched with snow |thumb

Ramster 2005-12-09 12:02 AM

LOL at DangerDave

Not much snow here but it is cold. Thursday nights we can call Crazy Canadians Night. I play basketball every Thursday and one of the guys on the team always brings beer for after the game. Each Thursday we stand out in the cold in the parking lot and enjoy 2-3 beers each. No matter how cold...no matter if it is snowing.

Win or Lose...We hit the Booze! :D

Have I mentioned that I'm up for adoption?

Torn Rose 2005-12-09 12:30 AM

I almost feel bad, we had to close the windows and turn on the AC, the breeze died down and it's stuffy...

almost......;)

Toni KatVixen 2005-12-09 12:40 AM

I'll take some of your snow and cold. It doesn't feel like the holidays in this balmy climate.

It helps that I love the snow. |snowman2 It is just my hubby that doesn't. :D
