Good Snowy Friday Morning
 

Morning
I have about 2 hours of snowblowing to do in a few minutes but should be around most of the day after that. We got a lot of snow last night.

I feel bad seeing my neighbors that I like shoveling when I have a monster snowblower.

Had hand surgery yesterday. It went well but I was in surgery for around three hours and had a very rough time coming out of anesthesia and didn't get released until early evening. Don't know why I was under so long as I haven't talked to the doctor yet or at least don't remember talking to him. I see him on Monday at which time I'm told I will be getting a splint that lets my fingers stick out. Right now I have a splint with only my thumb sticking out so doing anything is just a real bitch.

Not going to be doing much at the computer today as typing with only a thumb on my right hand is a real bitch as is using my left hand to mouse.

Espresso is on

It snowed. It's still snowing. Snow is everywhere. Because of the snow, the kids have the day off. Argh.

Snow, fuck you.

I don't feel too well today. Left the bar at 3am last night, time just flew by.
I really need to get some sleep :)

Morning, rain stopped and it looks somewhat calm and clear out there. Wife’s phone is not dialing for some reason so we get to go to the Sprint store which is in the worst part of town traffic wise today, joy.

After that just more of the same thing…. editing, I have just 1 more video to edit and then it’s on to pictures. We keep getting emails telling us how lucky we are doing what we do, but after hours and hours of “left click” and “ctrl + left click” and a few “right clicks” I do not feel so lucky…. Hey look at that, the |sun just came out.

morning all:) i got awake this morning with an huge stomach pain and wasnt be able to bring the kids to school so i left them home, i took some special tea and felt asleep on the sofa, my kids phoned my hubby at his work to tell him i was sick, lol he was very quick home, so the fam is taking care of me today, my stomach feels better but i am stil very very tired, i have the feeling i can sleep for days, mmmm still no snow here, the temp is to high for time of the year , so i dont expect snow in the next days, still i wanna have an white christmas......

Today its back to the wonderful reality of retail at some pagan holiday celebrating the return of the sun and longer days.

Cleo: glad to hear you came out of the surgery with little discomfort. Hopefully when you see the Dr. on Monday he'll have good news for you.

Good Snowy Friday Everyone!

Not a lot of snow on the ground, but it's really windy & it's starting to snow like a mother fucker again. Like I care (as long as the mail comes)

Jim - make sure you use the snow blower to help the kid across the street that stole your shovel :D

No cocoa, but I'm down to a week's supply of coffee here.

Oh- I do have a 40 of Absinthe that's intended for a birthday party I'm attending tonight. If I get stuck I'm pretty sure it will help me to forget about the snow |loony|

Bright blue skies and about 70 here at the moment. Wearing shorts and a t-shirt...windows are all open...ahhhh. Downside is I gotta mow the lawn tomorrow or Sunday...stuff grows year round here.

It's sunny today and yesterday I was walking around wearing just a t-shirt. When I want to see snow again I'll hop on air plane.

well, I guess we are getting Jim and Dr B's used weather here, as it is snowing a fair bit and they are talking about 6 inches or more before this lets up. Good thing I didn't put the snow tires on the car yet. I wouldn't want any traction or anything!

So I guess this means I will be at home all day working...

About 7 inches of snow here in my part of southern Indiana. School is out, which means getting a solid block of work in is a real pain in the ass.

It's snowing more heavily now. I thought it was supposed to be hot in hell.

More importantly, no one parked in front of my house last night and the car in question has not returned at all. If you can't afford a spare tire, maybe you should park in your driveway when someone leaves a note on your car saying "Park in your driveway". One of life's lessons.

Thank |buddy| I don't live next door to Useless...I'm assuming you also have a problem with people who don't mow their lawn often enough? Cause that would be me.

Glad the surgery went well Cleo, going under the knife is rarely fun.

As for me, the funeral went Ok yesterday and I'm in a better mood. But that could just be the Xanax talking...or the JD. It's just so hard to tell these days. |loony|

Morning! Well no snow here! I was talking to my brother this morning, he is in Maine and was closing my windows to put my air on at the same time! Told me he had to go shovel out his jeep to go to work. That's when I asked him again like I do every time I talk to him why he doesn't move to Florida and live with me.|crazy|

Preacher sorry about your loss. Hope you feel better soon. A funeral anytime is awful but I think worse around the holidays.

Nope, don't care about your lawn. I barely care about mine. The Toms, two houses down, they care about people's lawns and cars and shit like that. All I ask is that my neighbors don't park in front of my house - ever - but mostly not overnight, which is illegal here anyway. Actually, I don't mind if the people on the one side of me park out there. I like them. If I don't know you or I don't like you - don't park in front of my house. I keep that space reserved for police cars, ambulances, and mental health officials.

And Useless, luckily I have a fire hydrant in front of my house, so no one can park in front of it unless they are putting out a fire.
