Dudes, where's my SE traffic?
 

Well, every now and then I hear another LL got some kindda SE's penalties or something, or even banned in google or yahoo.
Linking to such LL's by placing their recips IMHO probably leads to unfortunate serp's for the freesites.
As I keep placing their recips it affects to the whole domain, don't?

Well I just see fellows over here trying to submit 30 FS a month to 100+ LLs.
Definitely there WILL be those shitty worthless LLs among them.
Generally, HOW MUCH threat it has for domain's SE ranking if i set links to sites (LLs) with some "bad reputation" in SE?

Good words. I'd rather talk to cheaters in the "Possible Cheaters" part of this forum but paradox is that they are mostly starting topics here. Those russians so headlong and I can nothing do about it :D

I always thought that submitting free sites to link lists was so that you got traffic (and hopefully sales) form the link list's traffic.

If you're doing it solely for SE gains, then maybe you need to work a strictly SE approach & forget about free sites & galleries.

On a personal note, my traffic took a shit form Google same time last year & it built itself back up over time & I see no reason why it won't build back up again (same thing every year - I'm getting used to it)

That's pretty much my take on building freesites for LL and galleries for TGP's. If you do get SE traffic from it, that's just gravy, but that's not the main reason you submit.

Building galleries for example - If you build one gallery, duplicate it a few hundred times, and submit it to 1000 TGP's...google isn't going to index those pages as they would a site that doesn't have that linking or duplication. Again, you'll get some SE traffic, but not like you would with pages specifically designed for SE traffic.

So...if you building purely for SE traffic I think you should do that.
