Bravenet will shut your site down as soon as they find out it has adult content on it. You need to read the rules for hosting on sites.

thanks for letting me know that. U are right, I should have read the rules first. I guess I was getting ahead of myself. Where is some places to advertise adult content?

If you really want to use free hosting (which I don't recommend if you're serious about making money) you can join an affiliate program that offers free hosting as long as you only promote their sites on that host.

Or you can check out kinghost.com (I have no experience with this one myself).

where is a good place to advertise. I do not mind spending money on a site. I am just new to this and could use some good tips on this. Thanks for everyone who is helping

You should write better descriptions: "SO SIT BACK AND CUM SEE" doesn't look too good to attract many visitors cuz you usually either "sit back" or "come"(two opposite actions) :) (here I'd rather put "SO SIT BACK AND WATCH THESE LADIES" ... blah-blah-blah or "SO CUM SEE")

Drop ALL THE CAPS on the site. It makes it hard to read for surfers. Also ONLY use caps when you want to emphasize a word or phrase. Helps with sending clicks to places you can make money with.

I see you are linking to I'm Live hosted galleries. That is good. For now the best thing to do is make a page that links to hosted galleries like that from I'm Live and other places.

Make a theme. All Amateur or tits or BBW or whatever but make a theme. Amateur is good because you can go mature amateurs, amateurs with bigtits, ect.

Instead of using them why not take a look at some virtual hosting - That seems to be the cheapest option to start off with and give you some time to build up.
Some of them will even give you free scripts etc to use on your site.

Host with me at Kwikfire.com ... its cheap!

Will have a tougher time getting linked or traffic if your using free hosting.

And whatever you do.....spell out all of your words and stop using the internet chat room lingo like "u" for you, and "r" for are. UGH. It's an instant turn off.

For me it makes a big difference. When I see someone making a site with chat lingo I think the site is run by a 15 year old and leave as fast as I entered. Checking your spelling is just a simple and easy way of showing professionalism. On the site itself, I would remove the pop up to the image, might scare your surfers away. I like the colors. The left justified page layout is just looking at me wrong I would like to see your graphics extend the whole width of the page and have the images and links centered. But thats just my tastes. Also I know Pussycash gives you descriptions for their links. I would take the time out to use them. Placeing up the enter url is just going to make your surfers wonder where the hell you are going to send them if they click that.
You said you are looking to make extra money. I'm not jumping on you here, I'm just pointing a fact. When ever you try to make money, you should be professional in every aspect of work. Be it real life or the web. The site looks like you made it in a few hours and did not really take the time out to plan the layout. Look at it like this, take a weekend and work your butt off each day to get your site looking the best you can, cause in the long run it may end up making you more then just some extra money..

I just took a look at the site itself again and read the text properly..

When I was referring to 'what does it matter' I meant as in the post on the board.. I didn't realise the site was in the same form.

Great advice can be found here and much learned, so coming to GG&J's was a good step. And the advice you are getting in this thread should definitely be followed.

A word of warning, tho: don't expect to make a ton of money at first. Adult money is not a get "rich quick scheme". Heck, it's not even a "get a little extra money quick" scheme.

You're definitely going to want to get paid hosting if you plan on making sites, but if you plan on making galleries, you might want to use free hosting. Surfers can eat up tons of BW, and if your gallery gets listed on the heavy hitters (thehun, for example), your bw charges will be through the roof. I still use this freehost for my galleries:

It's bannerless, has no popus or unders. The catch--you can only promote sponsors you have signed up for under them. They have a lot of sponsors, so you won't be limited in the variety of what you want to push.

Just my personal opinion, but I tend to steer clear of posting on a webmaster board and giving links to other webmaster boards for help in learning the biz. |huh

P.S. I think she has quit reading the board. She was PM'ing me for several days and asking good questions, then shortly after the new year I never heard another thing from her.
