Extra Special Half Assed Year End Greenguy Stats!
Because I actually want to have something to refer to during the discussion on sponsors at the Traffic Panel that I am on for the convention on Thursday, I've compiled some really half assed stats for the 2005 year |waves|
http://www.greenguysboard.com/greeng...ecial2005.html Please enjoy them, as I think they suck balls & are completely useless without the actual ratios & per click numbers of the sites in the programs |thumb |
Putting together stats is a bitch. My main computer crashed, I don't even have time to reload statsremote before the show.
I am working with TCG and Deecash on some software that will reverse engeneer stats and will adjust 1st, 2nd, join, will figure programs that was Chinese traffic (ect), cookies, and about every other possibility you can think of. The software will be free, we aren't selling advertising, and the source code willl be open. It is a tool for webmasters (like me) that are tired of reading doctored numbers. Slight correction: OCCash counts 1st and not 2nd page hits. There is only one NATS sponsor (I'm not naming names, but I think people can figure it out) that show anything else. |
Hi Greenguy,
I'm glad to see that I made your list with a ratio of 1:716. However you figured that ratio based off of clickthroughs and NOT unique visitors. A click through is registered each time one of our tours are loaded with your aff code. ie: from links directly to the tour or from FHG's or HFS's So in other words you will always have a lot more clickthroughs than unique visitors because each unique visitor hits the tour more than once. Especially coming from one of my hosted free sites you have listed. The correct overall ratio based on UNIQUE visitors for all sites is: 1:222 Broken down per site is as follows: BikiniVoyeur.com: 1:343 NudeBeachMovies.com: 1:276 PartyGirlUpskirts.com: 1:240 WetT-Shirt.tv: 1:33 WOW! XrayHunter.com: 1:367 All based on First Page Clicks. If I divide your total 2005 payouts by your unique clicks I come up with .06 cents per unique click. Your traffic kicks ass Bro! Thank You! Cheers, BV |
Great...yet another reason I hate doing revshare stats :D
[BV] - I have to go by the numbers I see in the CCBill admin, as that's what everyone else will look at to judge their stats against mine. And there's no way in hell I can go to all the CCBill sponsors & ask them to give me adjusted numbers, let alone trust that they'd send me the correct totals. So, what you see is what you get. |

Hi.. I am new here ( but we have been advertising for quite some time )
Just wanted to say thank you for the traffic and I am glad that http://www.slickcash.com did so well for you. |
[BV] - my apologies, as I didn't look to see that you guys were doing your own stats tracking. But I still have to go with what I see in CCBill, which almost matches up perfectly with your Clickthroughs & Raw Hits totals.
There's pretty much a 3:1 ratio between what CCBill says I sent & what you have down for the uniques, which sets off alarms in my head & makes me start thinking that something is off. I'm way too tired to think about this right now :D |
I just remember what my thought process was :)
This applies to any & all programs using CCBill - I would have to use the CCBill stats as I know they are all counted the same across the board & thus, it makes for better stats when others compare their CCBill totals to my CCBill totals. |

As far as CCBill stats go, they do not count uniques. All of their stats are based on non unique clickthroughs. A piss poor system IMO. This is why you hear so many people complain that all their CCBill sponsors usually have such high ratios. I'll explain a little further so everyone reading this can understand a little more easily if they are having a problem. http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...0000&PA=620577 The above is the standard CCbill linking code that most CCbill only sponsors use. Each time that is clicked a "click" is registered in CCBill's stats. So this means that when a surfer is viewing a gallery or a free site and clicks a link through to the tour that a click is registered. Now I make our FHG's and HFS's very aggressive, meaning that I have a lot of tour links strategically placed throughout the galleries. Each surfer clicks on these several times. Some more some less but usually more than once none the less. Each time registering a clickthrough, then backing up to finish looking at the free stuff before finally sign up. Now with the linking code that we (BVCASH) use looks like so: http://www.bikinivoyeur.com/affil.php?affilid=147 This also is the linking code style that you use for our sites. It does not register clicks in CCBIll's stats, only sales. So this is why I am sort of baffled how you say you are getting click numbers from CCBills stats. I assume you are getting them from StatsRemote which must track both clickthroughs and uniques from our program. Maybe you can help fill me in here as I don't have a stats remote acct. I do know that Marc from Hoes.com uses stats remote and his ratios that he posts on www.hoes.com/sponsors match up with what I see for his uniques in the BVCash admin. But the most important thing to remember here is that if you or anyone else are going to look in your CCBIlls administration area for your CCBill only sponsors stats, remember that those clicks you are seeing are not UNIQUE clicks. So if you show 1000 clicks to a sponsor and 1 sale, more than likely in reality you only sent 500 unique visitors, and that's being conservative. I know this was a long read but hopefully I shed a little light and I'd be interested in knowing if you actually see any clicks for me at all in your CCBill admin or are they coming from Stats Remote. Cheers and thanks again for the great traffic and sales! BV |
This really is a moot point as all the stats I posted suck ass & I'll never be doing it again anyway :D
