Preferred amount/length for mpeg galleries?
 

Haven't done a movie gallery since god was a child so not really sure what is preferred these days.

Getting ready to chop up a movie of Angel fucking a priest and figured I should ask what is preferred these days.

So how long should each movie sample be and how many per gallery?

Most seem to require a total of 60 seconds of video, be it three 20 second clips, four 15 second clips, etc. Also, most require either 3 or 4 clips minimum.

One other personal pet peeve. I like the vid caps or photos shown on the gallery page to actually match the scene segment for the clip it's linked to.

Nothing could aggravate me more both as a reviewer or as surfer than when they don't match. I always...still from day one until today...feel I was tricked.

You can't make a sale to someone who feels you are trying to trick them.

This is my experience:
4 movies / 15 second works very well at 90% of best TGP/MGP sites

1-3 movies / 60-20 seconds is not bad, but declined by 20-30% of good sites because your quantity is not enough

5-6 movies /10-15 seconds works good, but it's need tons of content (all clips must be different) - not ideal parth i think.

7-12 movies / N lenght - ALL TGP/MGP sites with this minimum are crap, i never found good one. But realy quality sites can easy decline your submissions with 7+ movies on page.

4 mpegs / 20 second/ 2 mb (1.5 mb sometimes) - most acceptable
4 mpegs / 15 sec / 2 mb (1.5mb sometimes) - good
3 mpegs / 20 secs / 2 mb (1.5 mb sometimes) - some will decline that
wmv is declined on some big guys.
Matching thumbs is a must (use the first frame if its quality is good enough. Otherwise use the first hq frame in the clip)
