After reading for weeks in this great forum I have made my first free site. And now I have the courage to show you this site.
Please can you check it out and tell me, if my way is right?

Nice looking site but not usually what is referred to here as a 'Free Site' ie not in the mould of all those 4 pagers designed for link lists but very professional.

Have you tried surfing around on different Link Lists and looked at some Free Sites they have listed? And of course looked at the most common rules of the Link Lists?

Not your typical layout of the four pages (index - with recip banners, gallery map, gallery one, gallery two), but have to say it's different from what I'm used to seeing. This is probably a good thing actually :)

Overall, nicely done for a first time site and interesting method for the gallery displaying. I'd list it actually with us if it was submitted. I'd say go for it. But when you make more, try to use different layouts if you can as well.

Yes, I have seen some free sites and the most of them were ugly. So I wanted to try something other. Maybe, this was a mistake.

No, I have never looked for the common rules. I only know, that I must have enough pictures, some outgoing links to other lists, no blind links and I believe, not more than three sponsor links per page.
I have no links to other link lists, because I must first search for them.

The problem with different, is some surfers won't understand the navigation, and some LL owners will decline it based on that.

I also wouldn't personally put the enlarged pictures on html pages because that will severely limit the number of LL's that will approve your sites.

Quality is good, and so is different, but I'd still try to stick the general skeleton of a normal freesite.

I like it and don't think the navigation is bad. Why it may not get listed at linklists IMO... you need 10 pics per gallery, each gallery should be a set ie. the same person/people, and yeah the pics on html pages is often a no no. OH and the image linked in the header is a big no. Also many linklists do not allow scripts in free sites including PHP.
Other than those things I like the style and if you can fit to the rules and make a totally new template for each of your first 15-30 sites you are set.

Thanks Preacher and natalie for your tips - I will try to change all necessary things. It´s a pity that I can´t work with php. You can make galleries so easy whith it.
