warning pages or lack of for pod and cellphone content
 

I was just wonder how any of you are handing the use of warning pages (or lack of) for pod and cellphone content?

I'm in the midst of making a wap ready tgp and I am sort of wondering that dispite my using warning pages, will the main stream and those that are RIGHT of the main stream, see my cellphone accessible site as pandering to the underage crowd.

I mean YES I already know there are those politicians and groups who will immediately say that and are already saying that about our sites on the internet.

But just wondering how you guys are doing this where you promote cell and pod content..........

I really see no value in warning pages. I know others will disagree but honestly I would like to know some stats of how many people actually get to a warning page and then don't enter the site. And we all know that there is no legal precedence that says a warning page will protect you.

I agree. And if you live in the US and someone does come after you one day, you'll be very glad you did. Which reminds me that I need to add filtering labels on my own pages. Anyone know a good place to helpo with that? While I will add the tags, I am not up for submitting my personal information in a database.

you DO HAVE a business address dont you??!! Cuz if you dont, that there is one of a dozen reasons that come to mind why you should.

as for personal contact info - I use the title "website admin" and do not put my own name.

If you need to put a phone number and arent too happy about giving your cell or home number, I suggest a small investment with a prepaid phone.

I got a tracfone two years ago - paid cash at the store. I think the price was 80 bucks. And for LESS than a c note a year, I keep a phone number WITH VOICEMAIL used for exactly this purpose. A number that is real and has voicemail that I only use when I dont want to hear back from the requestor.

And not to be ungrateful, but would any one using pod and cell content want to comment on the topic?
