Spent a couple hours down in the Pool House last night getting ready for the big Super Bowl weekend - lots of poker, partying, UFC PPV & of course, football :D

My dad is taking all the January birthday people out to dinner tonight, so I'll be down in the Pool House finishing up yesterday's projects until then |thumb

Went down to the beach last night to see if I could spot Saturn but it was too overcast to see anything despite it being a moonless night.

Not much going on today. Need to buy bird food and pickup a couple of things that I forgot at the grocery store yesterday.

Off to make more espresso…

I have some sort horrible debilitating ailment. Some would call it a cold, but for a wuss like me, it's a living hell. I do, however, feel better since I stopped taking the sinus medicine the wife had brought home for me. Which takes me back to my original problem - my wife is slowly poisoning me. But that discussion is for another day, assuming I last that long. |crazy|

Today, I'm working on a template and playing with a script, but they are both for the same super-top-secret-I'd-tell-ya-but-I'd-have-to-kill-ya project. Later, I plan on heading to the mall with my son so I can ogle college chicks while he mishandles crap in the toy store. And of course, dinner at the parent's house. Mmmm...cat hair surprise! All in all, not a bad day ahead of me. |thumb

Do you think that Saturn's rings are made from that same plastic composite used for the body panels on the cars by the same name? I may have to contact Nasa.

I had a personal day yesterday.. first a checkup in the clinic in the capital then my hair dresser friend came to see me.. she is pregnant and had a lot of drama lately poor thing so she could tell stories and being not able to talk I never interrupted her, she was so surprised and thankful :D Usually I am full of questions and unsoliliced tips instead of just giving a shoulder.
The only treat I was missing is a new hair do, damn that can do wonders with a chick's mood especially on a boring and dull winter day...

UW you need aspirin, tell the wife. Or just boil/heat 1-2 bottles of fine white wine for yourself (not merlot!) and put honey and spices into it and drink it slowly until you fall asleep and you'll be fine. I am not a fan of poisonous med.s either.

Well my daughter dropped of our grandson yesterday and he spent the night with us. It's funny because we had a ball with him, but it was nice seeing him go home with mommy. When he lived here he never went away. I think we might just enjoy this after all :D
