Do you submit on weekends?
 

I head somewhere that 35% of webmasters don't submit on weekends, do you submit or not?

It's all just a big blur to me.

I pretty much work seven days a week unless I decide to take the day off to do something more entertaining. I do probably average one day a week off or at least on a much reduced load but it is not any particular day of the week.

I don't watch TV or anything like that so if I'm home I usually work for something to do.

If building free sites is your thing, you only can submit one per day (at most places) and given you only have 365 days / year, taking weekends off isn't really an option.

Would you say it's more beneficial for submitters to submit on weekends, giving them a more chance of getting listed?

It makes no difference. What is a weekend to someone that works for themselves from home? If I do take a day off it is usually in the middle of the week so that whatever it is that I decide to do is less crowded since most people do work a regular week. Many LL have more then one reviewer anyway.

I build and submit on the weekends, if I'm not busy doing something else. But I'm much more likely to be out of the house on the weekends, as that's when most public events are held, when friends that do the M-F thing are home, etc.

As for being more likely to get listed by submitting on the weekends, it really depends on the site you're submiiting to and their turn around time from submit to review to post. If a site updates daily from that days submits, then yes you'll probably get listed easier on weekends. If they have a backlog of more than 24 hours then it probably doesn't matter when you submit.

If you consistantly submit quality sites, the reviewers will soon recognize your stuff and you'll get listed ragardless of when you submit.

Just kidding.Sometimes I submit free sites on weekends sometimes I don't!
It's all depends from my extra time on weekends

If you build so you always have an inventory of 3-4 freesites ahead of submission time, weekends aren't an issue (the 15 minutes you need to submit don't really count as work).

Most bigger TGPs do say they get less submits on the weekend. I submit on the weekends always. I submit 7 days a week unless something comes up like I am away or I do something with the family.

It only takes 1.5-2 hours to build and submit from scratch.

I like to have my days off during the week to its a lot nicer to go fishing and have no one else on the river. I don't submit on weekends but I do build free sites on the weekends that way I can submit when I first get up on a week day then go fishing after submitting.

So I've noticed :D
