News From Paycom Regarding Epassporte
I got this email yesterday:
We would like to inform you that Epoch Systems and Paycom EU will no longer offer ePassporte as a method of payment disbursement. This change is effective immediately. If you are a client of Epoch Systems or Paycom EU who currently receives payment disbursements via ePassporte, please contact accounting@paycom.net to make other payment arrangements. Epoch Systems and Paycom EU are committed to providing the most reliable and valuable services to its clients by focusing on products and features that ensure continued long-term stability for your business. Sincerely, The Team at Epoch Systems and Paycom EU |
WTF's this ???????????????????????????????????????????????
People should start using funds2go as it's Mastercard Never put all your eggs in the same basket |
It only means that Epoch/Paycom will no longer deposit money into epassporte. It doesn't mean that webmasters can't be paid via epassporte. Sponsors will just have to have Paycom send them a wire, and the sponsor would just send a wire to Epass.
I'm sure there is a bit of bad blood, so having them completely split like this is not surprising, at least to me. |
Yeah, I had to learn that trick of having paycom pay out to us so that I would wire to a few affiliates. The change isnt going to have much effect on us as we are switching to nats so we will have to do the epass transfers anyway. I actually thught that had stopped a while back as I had a few people asking about payments on epassport, I have used it some but there fees seem to be a bit high.

I didn't even know that was an option with programs that use Epoch/Paycom to cut the checks - and it's probably not that big of a deal as only a very small percentage of programs are using Epoch/Paycom to pay webmasters directly.

Greenguy, Epoch didn't pay affiliates directly. They just settled the processing funds straight into their customers' ePassporte accounts.
This probably only really affects smaller sponsors who don't want to pay the cost to wire funds to ePassporte to pay their affiliates. The interesting part of what was said was "Epoch Systems and Paycom EU are committed to providing the most reliable and valuable services to its clients by focusing on products and features that ensure continued long-term stability for your business." Basically insinuates that ePassporte doesn't ensure long-term stability. I would tend to agree with them based on the level of ePassporte customer support (nihl). |

Yeah, that was suggested to me when I was doing the training class on NATS, but I figure I can cover 2 bucks if an affiliate is producing. It is pretty much an international mail for me to send checks anyway, and I think it comes out cheaper in the end anyway.
The main thing I am interested in is keeping the guys happy that make money for me...... |
