A good game, a good night's sleep and I am ready to cook for my son's birthday. Nothing difficult...French Onion soup, Steak and Lobster. It's the homemade cheesecake that will take some time :)

Later last night I went out with my neighbor to the strip club and confused an Asian dancer who thought I was his wife and kept on asking if I was ok with things. I ended up getting her phone number for him. lol

Doing the gym thing once I'm awake, then doing $ome work, plus I have a bunch of errands to do.

It's really fucking windy here in Buffalo, which makes it really fucking cold. I can't tell if the snow in the air is fresh powder or if it's simply yesterday's snow being picked up off of the ground and tossed about just to screw with my drive home. I'm staring out the dining room window and watching the snow drift past GG's new circus tent sized kitchen addition and thinking one thing - GG's contractor's wife if hot.|thumb (Sure, that has nothing to do with the weather, but that just sort of popped in my head.)

At this point, I'm just waiting for everyone to wake up so I can hit the road for my rather boring drive home. It's time to get back to my lovely wife, whom I always miss when she's not around, even if I do generally ignore when she is.

Getting our version of winter this week. Only in the 60s here right now and supposed to be down to 52 at night by Thursday. I may even do long pants and sweater that night. Maybe put on that penguin movie and imagine there's snow anywhere within a thousand miles of here. They need to stop fucking around trying to crash things into comets and work on a warm weather version of snow.

Coffee and hot cinnamon buns today. :)

conference call scheduled this morning with a vendor. Tech rep is in Miami, Sales rep is in DC, UberTech guy in California, two sales support Reps in Miami, one Sales Support rep in Chicago.

Meeting scheduled at 10:00am Atlantic Time which I assumed was 10:00am Eastern (it was listed as SA Western Standard Time in the webex email -- as if anyone really would be utilizing SA Western/Atlantic time in the conference.)

To top it off, the conference application, written in Java, tells me that it is not supported on my hardware.

If this is how the week is going to start, its going to be a long week.

Had a great time in Sunny Ft. Lauderdale yesterday seeing Desolate Magnification at the IMAX and all that goes with it. Thanks Terri/Cleo for a great time. Back to shoveling porn bits and bytes to the routers.

I smelled something bad and found a dead half eaten squirrel under my desk this morning, not good and very gross. Nice to know that my cats love me so much that they bring me munchies.

All of the "we drove ourselves" people just headded out into the wintery goodness that is Western New York. Now I just have to convince dare that he'd love to sit at the airport for 5 hours so that I don't have to make 2 airport runs |thumb

LMAO... never had a squirrel, but I have had many mice left for me when I lived in farm land growing up, my late cat Randi always left just the heads, I think she wanted me to stick them on a stick to strike fear in the hearts of the other mice cause every time I threw them away she gave me a pissed off look like “what, are you stupid?”

We do have about 4-5 squirrels in our area and every time we go outside they bitch up a storm, if my 2 cats weren’t so fat and lazy I think they would go after them, if they had a clue what to do with them once they caught them, but when Reggie was about 2 he went after some ducks that lived behind us in a pond, he bolted after them so fast he didn’t see the chain link fence and hit it so hard he went underneath it and got spun into the air about 3’ and landed facing us with a “what the fuck was that” look. Ducks got away and I had to climb a fence to get the little fucker.

Dare they have some good bars in the Buffalo airport:D

Weekend winding down pretty quickly here.
It will be nice to get back to WARM Northern Minnesota :)
(though I won't be home until about midnight)
Normally scheduled BS and work wont' start until tomorrow.

Unless you've got a pounding headache from drinking way too much. Oh well, I did manage to win about $500 betting various friends and relatives. The sweetest part about collecting the cash is that most of it comes from cowboys fans!:D |jester| |thumb |bananna|

Afternoon all,

Drove home from Buffalo to be greeted with snow squalls and whiteouts on the last stretch of highway home... made it ok but Im all stressed out. Had to dig myself into the house since there was about a foot and a half lodged against the door and frozen over.. not good when you drive 3.5 hours and didnt stop to Pee! Now I have to replace the screen door cuz I yanked too hard and broke the bottom panel of it.

Thanks to GG and the bitch,|thumb I had a great time this weekend and was great to catch up with some more porn mongers - Alex, Ramster, Dr. B., Dare, MML Jayman and UW. Friday won some money at Bingo, won money on the football game and then won money again during a poker game .. whoohoo! was a good weekend for sure!

I might be scarce for a week or two.. Jayman convinced me to buy WOW (an online game) and I just have a feeling I might get hooked!
