Tutorial / article sites?

Do you know any good tutorial or article sites like TNB or VNWR? (not for newbies though :D)

Problem is almost every article or newbie resource site I have seen in the past 2 years or so is outdated ... some of them so badly outdated that they are actually giving really bad and destructive advice.

So don't take all articles as gospel. I subscribe to allofemtoyou newsletter and as some of you know they have article updates across many WM resource sites. I take the time to read many of them and am often left just blinking ... wondering how the hell such rubish can be published in at least a third of the cases.

Lots of misinformation out there, so take them with a grain of salt Jeka :)

Swedguy's daily tip!

If you want to get some new ideas. Start your iTunes and search for "marketing" in the podcast directory. Some are crap, but there are a few gems in there :)

What LB said, plus for stuff like SEO, always search mainstream resources as well, because the AWM ones almost always give you bad advice.

Essentially, the best place to learn things is on forums like this one and others :)

Oh yeah what an idiot I forgot that ! lol
Awesome point ... this board and a couple of others really go out of their ways to help out. You will get more relevant info on the boards (the good ones).

Yea, I've seen more than a few newbies get caught up building based on tutorials that are WAY outta date.

There are a few...very few...good boards for adult webmasters. GG&J is the best I've found for those in the free sites/link lists game. The beauty of forums like these is you'll get current information from those actually in the game right now |thumb

Yeah I know that the articles / tutorials on TNB and VNWR are pretty much outdated, I used to browse them 2 or 3 years ago already and I think there were already the same, that's why I'm asking for others :)

I've been lurking on many forums the last 5 years already and somehow I feel that there is not much I can learn from them nowdays anymore.
Themes don't get discussed intense enough and only 10% of the threads are interesting to me.
Therefore I'm looking for articles that discuss one theme and have some good fresh ideas in them...

It's a great way to see how mainstream marketers and copywriters think and where they see the trend is going. Most of the things they say is just regurgitated stuff. But every here and there there's a gem that you can apply to the adult market.
