Jim, are you surprised that Bush has once again been caught out as a lying sack of shit?

Alex

Jim 2006-03-02 01:52 PM

Not at all Alex. I just take great pleasure when he gets caught doing it on tape.

It makes me start to think that maybe Brownie was not at fault as much as I once thought. He has been saying all along that he warned Bush but nobody believed him.

RawAlex 2006-03-02 02:05 PM

Well, actually there are two possibilities here: Either his is a liar (he listened to the briefing and decided not to talk about it in public, instead giving a message of "who would have thunk it?"... or he really isn't paying any attention at all, doodling on the paper in front of him or doing a wonderword or something... he never asked any questions during this entire deal, which makes me wonder if he was really "there" or just napping and passing the time.

Either way this once again proves that he is just not in control.

At least he prayed for the people

"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere. God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion... We have had thirteen States independent for eleven years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half, for each State. What country before ever existed a century and a half without a rebellion?" --Thomas Jefferson

At least the story made it to Yahoo so maybe people will read it.

Alex, I think he just wasn't paying attention, which, unfortunately is his job.

same here, I think "brownie" was the sacrificial lamb that they threw under the bus... I just watched him on CNN in a live interview and he was warning everybody way before katrina that FEMA was broken after it got stuck under "the dept of inept homeland security"

of course the stupid fuck was still defending bush in some ways |banghead| |banghead|
