Morning folks,

Had to scrape some snow and ice off my car this morning but it all seems to have melted by now.
one of THE parties of the year (at least where I live) is tonight so I'll be there drinking and hitting on 20yr old girls if anyone needs me.

Have a good weekend all :)

pornrex 2006-03-03 08:41 AM

Good morning people. Not much a happenin' here, save for some major yawning at the moment. Got some running around to do but first some brekky, followed by a quick jog and then its back to the grind.

My car is bugging me to have its oil changed so going to do that today and get it washed too. Other then that just go to do some work around the house. Yesterday I bought some closet organizers since my closet seems to be running over with my stuff so I'm going to continue to try to make way too much stuff fit in a walk-in closet that is way too small for my needs.

Espresso is now being served.

docholly 2006-03-03 09:12 AM

:D it's a freaky friday...

got up at 1230am till about 3am.. went back to bed only to be awakened at 408am.. from a call from Clark Co. Detention, seems Chyna got busted for loitering last night while having a drink at the Hilton bar. Some plainclothed cop was coming on to her but she was just there to p/u her g/f and was playing quarters on the bar top. She wouldn't give him any play at all so he flashed his badge told her to open her purse. she had 2 condoms in it.. so he busted her for loitering. Seems as if you have MORE than 1 condom you are a criminal. Guess it didn't help she was wearing booty shorts. |angry|

But they don't have enough personnel to dust our stolen car for fingerprints and run it through the system. go figure. |banghead|

Oh well the day is young who knows what excitement will follow.. *flashing eyes at sweedee*.. |roses| Maybe he'll show me Thor's "Hammer" :D

Have a good one!! |waves|

Ramster 2006-03-03 09:24 AM

Good Morning.

SirMoby 2006-03-03 09:45 AM

It's been warm around here the last few days and today looks the same :) I think I'll go for a drive later and put the top down on this sunny day

ponygirl 2006-03-03 09:45 AM

good morning all |waves|

docholly, your life sounds so interesting :D but seriously, that is pretty messed up - they should be happy that people carry condoms these days not giving them grief |dizzy|

GG - it looks like a winter wonderland here too, it's actually much better than looking at a pile of gray sludge, anyway :)

anyhoo, going to get some work done before I decend into the madness of the weekend again :D

have a great day everyone

Good morning world |waves|

It's a nice day out there so it's gonna be hard to stay inside today.

Looks like I'm only one post away from being half way to finally accepting |buddy| into my life.

Now I just need to think of 501 things worth saying.

Simon

P.S. MML ... I'm not sure whether to say "sorry to hear you're feeling sickly" or "glad to hear you got sticky." :D

In July and later in November I bought a stock - my basis is .42 on the shares. They're a vendor of mine and I send them a substantial amount of cash every month. They're a solid company that had too much cash during the .com boom, spent a bit too much for too long, recently appointed a new president, things got shaken up quite a bit, people redeployed. VP said that they were on a mission to turn 4Q2005 into their first profitable quarter, convinced me to buy a little bit more from them.

Prior to the 28th they had a small runup. I listened to the earnings conference call on the 28th -- 4Q2005, net loss of $177k. I didn't think it would hurt them -- they had been narrowing the loss gap quite a bit in recent quarters but, I had hoped they would show a profit for 4Q. They did affirm in their forward looking statement that 1Q2006 was looking good. Stock really doesn't have much coverage since it is trading below $1, however, yesterday an analyst (one I don't really follow) upgraded it from HOLD to Buy. Since then, the stock has hit an intraday high of .71 now on heavy volume.

So, based on that, I am currently up 62.48% on that stock. One of the very few tech stocks I own, and one of an extreme few that I have ever bought where the company wasn't profitable.

Other than that, work work work on the schedule.

MrYum 2006-03-03 10:40 AM

Good mornin all!

Just another day at the races here...zoom zoom!

Feel better soon MML :)

Nice increase, hopefully it keeps going.

The .com and stock market boom of 6 years ago was good to me. I turned $5K into almost $20K in 4 months. Mostly luck but some good reading too and invested in cheap stocks 50 cents to $3.00 mostly and nearly everything back then doubled and tripled.

I took $15K out to buy this house and the other $5K I left in. Bad move of course as in the spring and summer everything went down. That $5K is still in stocks but are now worth about $1K. LOL But that's ok, I pocketed $15K :)

Good Morning All!

It was soooo nice not to have a contractor coming over first thing this morning, lol. We got our entryway tiled, it is looking very spiffy. Had a carpet guy come in on a side job and tack in the edges of the carpet along the tile, and got a good deal from him to recarpet the two rooms with horribly seamed berber, and are going to replace it next Saturday. Oh joy, get to move a ton of stuff out of those rooms. When that is done, we will have replaced all the flooring in our whole house, except the living room, which I'm LEAVING ALONE, lol. We REALLY overpaid on my office carpet, amazing how much they mark it up if you go to a company vs directly to the installer to do stuff. Thankfully, we now have an excellent tile man, and an excellent carpet installer, I will get them to do any other flooring we plan on.

Today we get to hang up new drapes, fix a kitchen cabinet that is coming off the wall, and start on the kitchen repairs. Always something, keeps me from sitting on my butt all damn day, lol.

MML, sorry to hear you are sickly, hope you feel well soon.

DocHolly, you need to start a tv series on your life and trials of being a pornographer in Vegas. Sucks to be going through all that, but it would make a good reality tv show.

Cleo, good luck on the closets! I live in a house with small closets, we ended up shelving and putting closet rods up in the laundry room, and that is my closet now, lol. No way MadHatter and I could fit everything in the master bedroom closet.

Well I need to get working on the house, then later on the porn tasks for the day. :)

You would think that a single woman living in a three bedroom three bath house with a large garage would have enough room but I've actually considered putting a second story on this house a few times so as to have more room.

Took the car over to get it washed and its oil changed. The place was out of synthetic oil so at least its clean and now I have one more thing on my to do list. Oh and now it looks like it might rain. |banghead|

digifan 2006-03-03 01:30 PM

I couldn't connect from the hospital.. so I am at home after the first 4 radiation sessions. It gives me headache, fatigue, my jaws hurt and my skin gets red and burns and the rest of the side effects is yet to come. Oh they decided to keep me there for 6 and not 5 weeks and I can come home every second weekend only. It sucks. I'm so eager to make up for lost time and money but I feel tired...

Preacher 2006-03-03 01:36 PM

:( Hang in there digifan.

Mr Exotic 2006-03-03 01:44 PM

I can feel for ya on the closet space thing. When I bought this house it was just me and my little sheltie dog, I had more than eough room for everything since before I lived in a tiny apartment. Now 5 and a half years later I still have that little dog, but I have a wife, and 2 kids, and now a cat. Funny how when a woman moves in every empty space in the closets got filled in clothes and shoes :) Bad thing about this house is that it only has 2 bedrooms, and I have a son and a daughter. They are still really little (daughter is almost 3 and son is 15 months) so sharing a bedroom works ok now, but I know that will change here in a couple years. I am facing either losing my garage and turning that into an office and a master bedroom, or trying to buy a new house in a couple years, which is something I dont want to do since I love this house (even though a place in the country would be nice).

MML I been sick the last few days as well. Its one of those things that gets worse as the night goes on and by the time I wake up in the morning I feel like I am about to die, then after a few hours of being awake I start feeling better only to start going downhill again at around 7-8 at night. It hit me really hard last night at about 2am, I was up puking my brains out.
