MONTREAL, QC – March 15, 2006 – JoinRightNow (JRN) has expanded its list of Webmaster resource tools with Hosted Free Sites. With this brand new tool, JRN affiliates are able to link every JoinRightNow from their link list.

JRN Hosted Free Sites have a fresh and unique design that is made to blend seamlessly with the site tours. All the Free Sites have the webmasters affiliate ID code, and are search-engine-optimized with highly targeted keywords. On top of everything, all hosting costs are shouldered by JRN that they may well be referred to as “Free Hosted” Free Sites.

The Hosted Free Sites consist of four pages – a standard warning page, a main page and two gallery pages. Each page has advertising banners promoting JRN pay sites webmasters with the affiliate ID code in place. The warning page links to the main page, which contains the links to the two galleries. The galleries are ideally a picture gallery or a video gallery. Webmasters can select the tour, choose a template, choose the set of picture or videos, choose description and even choose the separator for easy integration into their database.

Specifically designed for link lists, webmasters may display the hosted free sites on their own personal link lists or they can download the .zip files that contain all the design and html so they may submit the sites to link lists that accept free site submissions. “We just want to keep providing the tools for our affiliates’ to promote our sites,” JRN Webmaster Dugmor relates. “We have Hosted Free Galleries for TGPs and MGPs. Now, we have Hosted Free Sites for link lists. Link lists provide traffic of higher quality organized by niche and category.

Indeed, traffic from link lists is different from TGPs and MGPs. Most link lists have a lot less traffic than TGPs and MGPs. However, link list’s categorize their links, which provides pre-qualified traffic. Link lists are thus able to provide quality niche-specific traffic which is the best-converting type of traffic. In addition, link list listings are permanent whereas some TGPs and MGPs rotate and replace gallery links more frequently.

You may want to rethink offering the zip files for webmasters to submit to LL's since I will list my own I will not list any from submitters.

Stacey, no one appreciates the effort of sponsors who provide HFSs more than us link list owners, but frankly my darling, those samples aren't any good to me. They're pretty, yes, but listable, no. Their titles are identical to the paysites being promoted, which is a huge no-no in the free site world. Also, I see where the random content thing seems like a neat trick and would, in theory, keep JRN from having to produce more and more free sites, but it's horrible. How can I write a good description if I can't describe the ever-changing pics?

Dugmor asked me about these last week when the newsletter came out & aside form the meta tag issues described in this thread, this is what I sent him:

I'll be completely honest. I saw the newsletter last night & I've been shaking my head ever since. Who designed these? If it's some outsourcing company, I'd would ask for my money back.

1 - Free Sites have different/unique titles that have nothing to do with the name of the paysite.

2 - Templates are ok when used in moderation. Every paysite seems to use the same template for all of it's HFS's & that's not gonna cut it.

3 - The descriptions are useless, as they only describe one of the 2 galleries. Example:

Unless Judy Star had a lot of cosmetic surgery between the shoots, that's not her in the 2nd gallery.

Free Sites have a flow or a theme. You can't just take any 2 set of pics & make a site for them. When you do, you get the mess that you have where it's almost impossible to make a title or description.

Link Lists are different from TGP's and Free Sites are different from Galleries. Whoever designed these is obviously a TGP/Gallery person/company & they have no business making Free Sites.

I have had that whore abuse one submitted to me a number of times now, suffice to say it hasnt been listed.
