For some reason this message board didn't loaded for me for a long time. Now it works again.

Must've been something in my end, as I downloaded free content from newsletter OK.

My connection has been strange lately. Today it has jump off and on all day. I have ADSL.

I guess they have good public transportation where you live. Where I live you would be basically trapped at home or on a bicycle if you didn't drive. Actually there is some public transportation where I live, but it is not very good.

I don't like busses, I use taxi. We have good telephone taxi service here, just phone, and they come.

We do have taxis here. They often barely speak English, show up late, don't know their way around, and end up charging you a whole lot of money to get you lost and late.


Damn it's the 21 century, where are the flying cars that we were promised, I want my damn flying car! :D

That's sad. We only have one foreign taxi driver here. He knows the places but drives like a madman.

I also have wondered what happened to flying cars. They promised at 70's we have them at 2000. :D

Well, there is only some 5 million finns, and if we believe the authorities, not many more is coming.

Just another day someone in some message board asked why people don't drink in restaurants anymore (finns)? That's easy to answer. We who kept the bars up are now almost 50. We don't sit there anymore. There is lot less of young people than there used to be in 80's when I was old enough to sit on bars.

well, it works good for me, all i can say that really takes a while to load...

The board is actually painfully slow to load, dunno why.. maybe because all the buttons and banners.
