Feeling good again today. We are getting some flooring done today. It started as one room and turned into 3. I just hope my wife stops ripping up carpet now :)

So, I will be in and out. We have to move furnature from one room to another and when that room is done, we have to move the furnature to that room.

Still cloudy and around 50°F/10°C so no changes since yesterday.
Got a dance lesson tonight and I'm not looking forward to it :(

Sabres won last night for the 1st time in 6 games |bananna| It looks like we're gonna stay in 4th place, so that means at least one home playoff series :)

Another day of contractor hell - 1/2 the house has working water & plumbing, so that's a plus (and no more showering in the Pool House)

Excellent morning here so far, with the kind of weather that almost makes me forget there are only 62 days until the official start of the Atlantic Hurricane season.

Note for DocHolly -- I saw "History of Violence" and have been using its "Gangster Sex" scene as a great example of how you can sell sex without really showing much at all. Or maybe it's just me that likes fast, rough sex on a hard wooden staircase in dim lighting.

(btw...the special features have a section just on that scene.)

Cable modem still out and still dealing with the last of this cold but other then that things are well. Suppose to go help my neighbor pick out new throw rugs for his new hardwood floors later today. Other then that just a day of work for me. Waiting to get completely over this cold before returning to the gym and I'm really missing it.

Another exciting day in the great (no longer white) north.

Meeting with the accounting types near the end of the day, they are always a pile of laughs. They get to explain to me whatever new way the collective governments have some up with the screw me out of my hard earned money :)

Speaking of which, renewed the plate on my car today. Gotta love Quebec, $323 for a year - and they are threatening to put it up.

Morning! I'm not in a good mood today at all! My daughter called me at midnight crying her heart out. Saying her and her boyfriend are breaking up, and her and my grandson would be moving back in today. Of course I didn't sleep, when one of my kids is upset like that I worry. Sooo.. she calls me first thing this morning (woke me up) and said everything is fine Mom. Things are so good he took the day off so they could go look for a new house |loony| Who ever said when your kids grow up life gets easier was so wrong |angry|

I called my husband at work, told him after Tuesday is over which is the day my son goes to court and gets his sentence over with |loony| We are going on vacation, and no none of the kids or the grandkid is going with us |thumb

There I'm fine now and going to get to work! I do believe this post makes me only 8 from getting my Buddy Christ |bananna|

Morning all,
Recovering from my first migraine headache in a few years last night. A bit light sensitive, and my vision is off, but other than that ok. I thought of Jim, I'd hate to have headaches like that on a weekly basis, losing my vision for an hour while the jagged lines dance in my sight plus the pain and wanting to throw up are no fucking fun.

Today it is a combo of porn and build the desks for my office. Can't wait to get back in it. Bu, my little abyssinian cat is right here as I type this, begging attention. At least in my office, I can lock her out. She is such a loveable little girl. If I don't pet her, first she will rub her head against my fingers as I type, then she will start to nibble on my knuckles, reminding me I should be petting instead of typing, lol.

MadHatter got my office all painted yesterday while I installed the last of my programs. Glad to have that done! My room looks nice, light purple. I feel about 9 but I love the color, I'll show pics when we get the desk built and installed.

I spent most of my morning incognito due to crazy ass camhoes whining about traffic fall off during spring break.. you'd THINK they'd know by now.

and had a lovely convo with my pal Chop on icq so that was the highlight of my day.

Plan on taking the Spudster to TGIFridays today to have a "Chopped" steak :D
