Good Thursday Morning

Our Children and GrandChildren arrived yesterday so, I will be scarce for the next few days. I think it is a bone thrown to us since they will not be here for Easter. Anyway, off to the zoo today so, have a good day.

terry 2006-04-13 07:18 AM

Good Morning Everyone!

Have a Happy Easter and lots of fun Jim

Have a great day Everyone!

Fonz 2006-04-13 07:27 AM

Morning all,

Temperatures a rising and I like it, also no more rain for the next couple of days it seems :)

One of my many many girlfriends is coming over tonight to watch King Kong. That reminds me I have to go pick up my gorilla suit later today :D

Have a nice day all.

gUrLaLiEn 2006-04-13 07:36 AM

Good morning people!!! :)

Greenguy 2006-04-13 07:51 AM

Good Thursday Peoples |waves|

Sabres beat Montreal 3-1 last night, so it looks like we'll be having at least 1 home playoff series |thumb

Other than that, I've got the usual work to do & I have to get those checks ready for mailing to the IRS tomorrow :(

MrMaryLou 2006-04-13 08:05 AM

Good Morning All :)

Toby 2006-04-13 08:14 AM

Mornin' Y'all,

Finally back to a bit more normal sleep schedule, was beginning to think I'd become nocturnal.

|coffee is on, extra strong, not for the faint of heart, help yourself at your own risk. ;)

P.S. I see that WildGirl has an understudy.

Cleo 2006-04-13 08:37 AM

Fuck Bellsouth and waking me up at 7:30 AM to let me know that he was putting in my new line outside. Couldn't go back to sleep so now I'm here sipping on espresso.

I need to call Earthlink to have my ADSL moved to the new line once I'm awake enough to use a telephone. Then once I have a service order from Earthlink I can email Vonage back with the service number so that they can move my phone number to Vonage. Been using Vonage since yesterday and love it.

I was going to do gardening instead of the gym today but it looks like it's going to rain. Guess I'll decide after I've showered and woken up and see how it looks outside.

Bought gas last night and I see it is once again over $3 a gallon. Good thing that I work at home and barely drive but I do need to buy almost 200 gallons before the start of hurricane season.

Good Morning Everyone |waves|
Hope you all have a great day!

emmanuelle 2006-04-13 09:09 AM

Good morning
It's dreary outside, which makes it much easier to make time to sit here all day and catch up.

Simon 2006-04-13 09:36 AM

Good morning world |waves|

Supposed to be some rain in the forecast for today and tomorrow.
Still nice 80 degree (F) days though.

Finishing up on some redesign work on XRT now that UW and Kristian accidentally reminded me of something I almost forgot.

Looking forward to nothing much but work today, unless maybe watching another great stormy sunset off the old seven mile bridge later.

More keyboard chewing and porn making on the agenda.

Have a good one :)

RawAlex 2006-04-13 10:16 AM

Morning everyone... I agree with Emma, it is blech outside today, grey and not really raining but it has been and might some more maybe maybe not whatever...

Slinging D porn sounds like a better idea.

You're so bad! lol

It's Maundy Thursday, the day on which the last supper is said to have occurred.

Went out back with an electric pole saw and cut down all the really tall palms that were within reach of my house if a storm blows them around really hard. Still need to drag all the cuttings on the east side of my backyard to the front for bulk trash pickup. I also did a few of the mango tree branches that were hanging over my house. I'm going to be like so ready for this year's hurricane season. No more branches falling on my house. I still have a few more mango tree branches in my backyard and a few palms in my front yard to do. Going to try to get everything done this month. The whole west front side of my property behind my hedge is now a giant pile of tree trimmings that I need to somehow get to the street for bulk trash pickup.

Mornin all |waves|

A full agenda of stuff to do today. Hmmm...where to begin though? Anyone know someone that does cloning on the cheap? :D

Great day with loads o sales to all!

selena 2006-04-13 12:03 PM

It's warming up to be a lovely day in southern Indiana, and I'm about to go outside and plant more flowers. 4 hours of screen time at a stretch is about all I can stand before my shoulder starts screaming.

Preacher 2006-04-13 12:18 PM

Morning all. |waves|

I have a couple of meetings today so I'll be in and out. |cry|

I tried that. I'm not sure you'll be happy with the results.

I still prefer the ears on the sides of the head, and just one nose.

Plus, that whole 'eyes on stalks' thing really threw me.

YMMV

Beautiful here in central Indiana as well. Been slacking big time as far as the computer time goes, but have been working my ass off in the yard getting all my new landscaping put in around my goldfish/koi pond. Toad mating season has hit, the previous years I would see 4 or 5 and once last year I saw 7 toads out in my pond mating, 2 nights ago I saw 10 toads out there, but last night shit really hit the fan with the toads. There had to have been more than 40 toads in my pond last night and many more all around the pond, I had never seen anything like that before in my life. And never before had they been out there doing their thing in the day, its 12:47 now and there at least 5 or 6 of those toad fuckers out there, been doing their mating calls all night and now all day long. And its not like I have a huge pond out in the coutry, I live in town and my pond is only like 1200 gallons of water big, picture 40 toads in a pond that is 13-14 feet long and 4-5 feet across with the water depth ranging from a foot and 3 and a half feet deep.

When i was doing student teaching at Emory back in 1999/2000 the history channel had show on the 200 most influential people of the last 1000 yrs. #1 was Gutenberg for the printing press. Anyway I challenged my students (all college level) to create for me their last supper using either the 12 of the 200 listed on the history channel homepage OR their own excepting friends and family who'd be 'grandfather'd in". and arrange a 'seating plan'. Like i had MLK and Nelson Mandela on my list along with Sitting Bull John Lennon and Jean Paul Sarte, Da Vinci etc. and then write a report on why they chose them and why they seated them (only da vinci and MLK made the HC list) It was really supposed to be a 'fun' diversion.

You'd be surprised how many failed the lesson by adding JC |buddy| to their list. AND then ARGUED with me over their grade. I should have expected that since it was a religious affiliated school in the heart of ATL.

Ok i'll shut up now.. |jackinthe

cd34 2006-04-13 01:27 PM

You know what they said at the last supper...

everyone that wants to be in the picture get on this side of the table.

haha... sorry... I have a twisted sense of humor at times.
