Happy Finally Friday Morning
 

Finally Friday and my Grand Children will be dropped off for the weekend so their parents can take in a game in NYC. When I had young children, my parents would not watch my kids, my kids respective parents would not watch them so, it must be nice to have (saps) I mean parents that will watch their children :)

Anyway, that is going to make me scarce for the weekend. That and really having to take down the Christmas lights :)

But in only 7 more months; those lights would be in season again. |pokefun|

This morning is so beautiful outside. A heavy frost, on top of a freshly mowed lawn. |waves|

I knew I was resting up for a reason.

This weekend is the end of the Conch Republic celebrations, so today is the Conch Republic Naval Parade and Great Battle for the Conch Republic (aka The Bloody Battle) in Key West Harbor, followed by the Victory Party (celebrating our victory over the evil forces of the United States Border Patrol - yeah, we always win).

Tomorrow there's a "Conch-Cours de Elegance" plus a Conch Crawl and the Annual Conch Republic Red Ribbon Bed Race, followed by a fiddler's contest, a pajama party, and The Pirate's Ball and Pig Roast. Sunday is the Wreckers Race to the Reef, the awards party, and a stargazer cruise on an old three-masted schooner.

Plus the usual work and home things to take care of. :)

Another week flew by and we got a long weekend coming (labor day thing on May 1st) so no worries here.

Just got an email from my ISP that I almost reached my max upload capacity very strange since 2 days ago it was only at 4% but for some reason I've uploaded 1.2 GB yesterday and already uploaded 550MB today. Even stranger is that the PC that's hooked up to that connection has been turned off yesterday at 10PM so how the hell can I have uploaded 500+MB today???
Ah well, time to pick up the phone I guess...

Watched AeonFlux movie last night and loved it. Had no idea if it was going to be decent or not since all I knew about it was from back when I watched the anime a long time ago.

Allergies are really driving me crazy. This is the worst that I've ever had them. I may just say fuck it to work and everything else and go float in my neighbor's pool all day since that seems to help. The ocean would be even better but the water is still too cold. Guess I should take some allergy meds but I hate the way they make me feel.

Are we there yet?

Anyone have a sense of humor?

I was woken up this morning by the post man bringing me a registered letter. It is from the "gestion de la servitude", sort of the neighborhood architectural overseers. They don't like the position of my sat dish (same place it has always been since I moved here) and they are attempting to fine me $100 per day since they first noticed it.

The fine? $60,000. (no typo, sixty thousand dollars).

These people have a sense of humor.
