Forums and Rapidshare
Anyone else having a problem with content being posted via rapidshare.de on various forums?
I have emailed "Abuse-Management: abuse@rapidshare.de" to no end and gotten no response. Even tried calling their 0900 number http://rapidshare.de/en/impressum.html "Illegal files will be removed immetiately after notice. Furthermore we will add them to our file-filter, so they can't be uploaded again. Just write an e-mail to our abuse-management and give the exact links to the files." Does anyone know of a way to contact rapidshare.de and get them to remove files from their servers? tia |
It is very simple. Find out who their host is, and send them a DMCA notice. Send their upstream providers the same. Send their providers the same, and so on.
All these file share sites are fucking criminals. Alex |
thanks will give that a shot though not too hopeful as files not
hosted on these servers just links to rapidshare which is where the problem is. am a bit late finding this out, only discovered forums like this even existed last sunday by sheer accident. always thought usenet was the problem but this is much worse... rapidshare did remove my content though finally so if can catch them doing it can hopefully get removed asap. ive been emailing other content providers know personally when seen their content. would like to find out which forums are the worst offenders so can keep an eye on them. can i pm you with ones i know about and you can fill in blanks? |
