Yep, it's been an interesting day so far. Now I have to go deposit some checks from those who love me. :D No telling what I'm gonna encounter out there today.

Happy Birthday Simon, I see from the good morning thread that they put on a show just for you!

Yep, they sure did, and the show continued as various news crews began to arrive in their trucks with the big antenae on top. And then the news helicopters got here, hovering over the canal to try to get a good camera angle. Meanwhile we had utility workers up on the poles working to get service restored while also trying not to get blown off the poles by the rotors' downdrafts.

Surfn - you know I wasn't referring to any such thing...I was sayin' you had dinosaurean nerve calling me the old one. :D
