Q about thmbs size

I know 100px is some minimum for thumb size, but what is the maximum? Is ok to submit fs with 224x200 px thumbs (offcourse quality thumbs, not shitty, blury thumbs)

Why not? It is even a bandwidth saver... people see the thumbs and don't click them if they don't like them.
