Vivid allowing DVD copying?
 

This may be old news to many of you, I don't sponsor Vivid so I wasn't aware... but, I was surprised to hear some dude from Vivid on NPR radio today being interviewed over the "novel" marketing move of allowing its content to be downloaded and copied to a dvd on a members computers. They're not "worried about piracy" and in fact think that piracy only helps to reinforce the brand and improve sales.

Things that make you go hmmm.

XBiz has a story in the May issue about this. Seems Vivid is starting with 30 titles that you can download and burn to DVD, but limited to one burning using a DRM system from AllAdultChannel. You can even print the jacket art.
