Don't want to be a downer on a lighthearted thread, but this subject has driven me nuts for years. Obscene is the correct term to describe the greed and borderline theft these CEO's are getting away with. It has long been my position to anyone that this subject comes up with that I think that the TOP chimp shouldn't make more than 100 times the lowest chimp. These guys are not that smart and even if they are they shouldn't be allowed to be so selfish. The one exception is for the guy that actually created the company. Packard, Ford, Gates, the Google guys deserve every dollar they want to take. But after they're dead, its over and back to the 100 rule.
