The contractor is kicking us out of our living room today & since my living room consisted of the couches, TV, fridge & stove, it's gonna be a lot of fun to move all that crap into a room that already loaded with furniture. I think the fridge & stove will live in the garage for the next month or so & I'm not looking forward to moving my TV :(

But, I do have the big Buffalo/Ottawa game to look forward to tonight. The bandwagon jumping is getting a bit out of hand - all 3 local news shows started off their 6 PM broadcasts with some sort of Sabres story - I did like the one with the toothless hick standing on the side of the road selling Sabres memorabilia that obvious fell off the back of a truck |thumb

Gloomy strecth of weather ahead again. |cry|

I had to take care of some issues yesterday. All I really want to say about it is that it's no wonder I have my cell phone play Warron Zevon's "Lawyers, Guns and Money" when my Son's call.

Anyway, all is good now and I should be around all day. I can't believe how much email I get after just being away from my PC for 20+ hours.

I haven't checked the weather yet, suppose I should, since I have to venture out sometime today and do the grocery thing. They'd probably deliver, but I prefer to look over the meat and produce myself.

Nice day down here and the news says there may be some rain on the way eventually. Well, showers on Friday, but maybe some thunderstorms by Monday. We don't have the same fire problems that the mainland is having here in the Keys, but there's a lot of storm debris still around (in the undeveloped areas) that's gotten very dry over the last couple of months. Some good rain would ease the mind of a lot of people here.

morning all:) 4.07 miday here, the last day of my kids holiday.....yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh tomorrow they go back to school, 10 whole days i was hanging with my kids.......10 days, lucky hubby he had to work, naaa it was fun still i need an other whole week to get in my working mood again...oh no i forgot to mention after 8 days school they have again a week holiday, i realy should complain at their school to many holidays:D i am hanging around somewhere, have an great day all:)

Slept nice and late again today despite someone calling early asking to speak to the person in charge of printing supplies.

Not a lot going on today other then errands like grocery shopping and stuff. Neighbor left town for a week or so which means that I'm on cat duty. I'm thinking that his cats and I should throw a big party at his place.

Last of my trees were trimmed yesterday so at least my trees on ready for this year's storm season but I'm not buying one of those tin cans that Simon posted.

Vette decided to do the "Reduced Engine Power" thing yesterday and I had to pull over and reset the computer a few times or the car would only go about 24 mph. Filling it with gas seems to have stopped the issues and it seems to only do this when the tank is less then half full and never when I bring it to the shop. I wrote down all the error codes before clearing them this time and am going to see if it does it when the tank gets half empty again. I'm now thinking that somehow it is sucking air when the tank falls below a half a tank and then fools the sensors into displaying false errors codes. I hate cars.

Espresso is now being served.

|waves| Morning.. I get a 3 hour break from being "mom-on-call" today since Spud's dad is taking him to PE and then for a much needed hair cut. Literally overnight he sprouted a full blown mustache.. so i told him to take him home and give him a shaving lesson.

I want some of that rain weather in the 50's SEND IT HERE! I have found out for now I can't handle being outside in the heat at all, not even damn 70 degree heat, and its driving me crazy. I got out in the morning, pick weeds when it is still cool, and my temp is up to 101 in an hour. *sigh* I hope to hell I get used to it soon, drives me loony to be house bound this soon in the summer season. I feel like a vamp, I can only come out when the sun is down, lol.

Other than that it is porn porn PORN day! Lots of work in front of the computer.

GG, good luck on the moving all the heavy furniture, I feel for you. I'm sooo glad we don't have any remodling projects going on right now inside. We are waiting until it is too hot for MadHatter to do yard work to finish up our kitchen, fun fun fun! lol Hope it doesn't get to hot for awhile. :D

Cleo, good luck on the car. Your neighbors cats throwing a party makes me think of those tidy cat commercials, lol. I was out this morning with Loki, and not sure what happened but watched him take off at a run and jump clear across the length of our new pond and land about 2' beyond it. That has to be close to 10'. Cats are wild to watch sometimes.

Had a great time in the radio show chat last night, can't wait until June when I can get to them more consistently.

Good day... we were hit by a massive big German car driven too fast by a very drunken tourist on the way home and I broke the thumb of my left hand and hit my left leg and ankle... I sat there, behind the driver this time because we wanted to pick up someone on the way home. The guy is in jail and I decided that my glass is half full because I could have died. But never thought you can miss one finger this hard... doh.
